I pre-wrote a lot of stuff for the book I'm currently working on almost a year ago. It's really almost nostalgic to be able to go back and reread things that your past self has written. I originally started this project right after I jumped off the deep end into the world of fanfiction. I read this one (I can't remember the title) that I really liked but it ended quite abruptly and was never updated again. I moved on to a similar one that was much longer and when it finally started to get to the good part, I read an announcement on it saying that the author lost interest and was ending the book there. I was really upset because I was so invested in this book and the ending was not what I was looking for. That night, I looked for something similar to that and my search was unsuccessful. That was when I made the realization that if I wanted to read something like I was looking for that I needed to write it myself. So that's exactly what I started doing that night. I ended up writing about 22,000 words in the span of a few weeks before I got too busy with school to keep up which led to me losing interest in the project. I decided to pick up the project again though and I'm really happy that I did. It's not turning out exactly how I originally planned it but that's okay because I like it now and I have so many future things planned out already. Anyways, I just wanted to share how this story came to be.
