So I am back with another announcement.
There is a 50/50 chance that The Red Carpet Awards will be back for another round this year.
This was just a thought. I am still thinking about it.
If I consider to run it:
There will be slight changes that will be made to the awards, since there were loads of complaints from many of the contestants that were eliminated. Alterations will be made to the rules, genres that will be accepted, how judges will be recruited, and a few minor things which you guys will notice.
Reading through the evaluations from those contestants just made me realize how much unfairness and biased behaviour prowled around the awards. I hadn't even noticed it until the awards came to an end. There were some complaints which I considered to be irrelevant, especially those based on the judging criteria. The point system was fairly structured, and the areas which the judges needed to assess was relevant.
I can agree that there was unfairness with regards to how the judges judged the books, as certain entries were over-scored and some were underscored.
Entry dates will change as well. Instead of opening for entries in August, The Red Carpet Awards will open in December, and will run up until end of January/ beginning February.
That is all the info I have for now. I will keep you guys updated once a final decision has been made⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
