Chapter 2

It's been two days since Rayver proposed to me. And now we're coming back to philippines to formally announce that we are getting married.

I felt so nervous when the plane landed. Then suddenly I felt Rayver's hand holding mine. I look at him then he smile. I force to smile back too.

"Is there something that bothers you baby? "he asked.

" Nothing ". I said to assure that im ok even if it's not.

" C'mon baby, tell me. Im your husband soon and you have nothing to hide me about your secrets. You know I hate secrets and lies". He said while pouting his lips.

Oh God why is so handsome. Im still wondering myself why did he fall inlove with me. Coz you know im just an ugly and nobody.

I like seeing him with his childish attitude.

"Uhh... I know you hate lies" I said then touch his face slowly and gently. Then I move closer to him.

"Im just nervous baby"I said finally.

I heard him chuckled.

"Baby you don't have to be nervous. Coz im the one who have to but can't you see im good and I didn't felt nervous. And the fact is instead of being nervous I felt excitement to meet your parents and also your whole fam" he said without removing his biggest smile on his beautiful face.

"It's just im worried about you baby. What if dad would i interact so much. You know strict pa naman sya" I said then I took a dee sigh.

He hold my hand tightly then his eyes met mine. Its like we're talking through eye contact.

"Everything's  gonna be fine baby. Jusr trust me". He smiled then he kissed me on my forehead.

"Ma, pa meet Rayver. My fiancé". I formally introduce in front of them. I felt so shaky right now. And parang nawawalan na ako nf oxygen.

But my nervous fade away when Rayver wrapped his finger ong my hand. I felt relieved.

I look at papa. Then I didn't see any expression of him. Tinititigan nya lang si Rayver mula ulo hanggang paa. I gulped at sa sobrang kaba pinagpapawisan ako. Tiningnan ko naman si Rayver. Halos walang bakas ng kaba sa mukha niya sa katunayan nga ay nakangiting nakatitig sya kay papa.

Nakita ko namang di nagpatinag si papa sa ginintuang ngiti ni Rayver. Masyado kasing mahirap kunin ang loob ni dad. Especially he don't even know about Rayver's status in life at all. So I can't blame him from being strict all he wants is the best for us and the best for us is his greatest achievement in his life-he said.

"If your not serious and your playing my daughter's heart you can now leave coz my daughter deserves a better man who'll take care of her 'till her last breathe "that said in a serious tone. I gulped again baka kasi bumigay si Rayver at di kayanin si dad sa mga sasabihin pa nito. But Rayver is still smiling at him. Goshh

If I were dad maiirita na talaga ako at magagalit sa lalaking to. Yung feeling na ang seryoso mo tas sya ngiti lng ng ngiti. Umayos ka naman Rayver kung usto mong ikasal tayo. Sab ko sa sarili ko. Bumitaw ako mula sa pagkakahawak nya. Tiningnan nan nya ako ng kunot noo.

Ngunit bumaling sya ulit kay papa at ibinalik ang mala gintong ngiti nya.

"Im dead serious dad I love your daughter more than I love myself and in fact I love her as much as you love her. So please sir let me take your daughter's hand. I'll promise that I will love her all my life. Kahit wala ng matira sakin Dad. That's love right? , coz when you love you have to give all of  your love heartedly". He spoke while looking at dad's eyes.

Oh god he call my father dad!? I felt the heat on my cheeks it's just like im burning now in giggle.

I saw dad shrugged then he stood up. And I saw mama still sitting and smiling onto us. Gusto ni mama si Rayver para sakin kaya walang problema.

"If you really do love my daughter. You may now take her hand". Dad said then her terror face turns into a soft hearted man.

Nakioagkamay si papa kay Rayver at kita ko ang labus na ligaya ni rayver. Tumingin ito kay mama at bumeso.

Nakita ko namang natawa si mama at kahit ako rin. At nakita kong tumalim ang tingin ni dad kay Rayver.

Napahakykipkip ako ng makita ang ekspresyon sa mukha ni Rayver.

"Hey mukhang masaya kayi ah. May I disturb you guys ! "singit ng isang magandang babae.

Napalingon ako at alam kong si Ate Saichi iyon.

Sa sobrang pagkasabik ay tumakbo ako palapit sa kanya at agad syng niyakap.

" Ate I miss you so much" i said while hugging her.

"I miss you too sissy". Sabi nya.

At agad akong bumitaw uoang ipakilala sa kanya si Rayver.

Agad akong lumapit kay Rayver. At kumapit sa mga braso nya. At si ate naman nakipagbeso kay mama at papa.

Hinili ko si Rayver palapit kay ate.

"By the way ate. Meet Rayver my fiancé" i proudly said.

I saw her eyes widened. I wonder why?have they already know each other? Are they friends before?. I asked myself.

At ganun din ang mukha ni Rayver tila bang nagulat ng makita si ate.

Tumawa ako upang mabasag ang katahimikan.

"Hey you guys! You both ok? " I asked still laughing.

Tumingin naman si Ate sakin.

" Uhhh.. Yes im ok". Sagot ni ate.

Napakamot naman si Rayver at gabun din ang sinagot.

Napatango naman ako.

"If your both ok. Should we celebrate? " i said in excitement.

" For what? "tanong ni Rayver

Kumunot naman ang noo ko at parang gusto kong umiyak dahil sa sinabi nya.

I heard him chuckled

" Kidding baby.. Of course we should celebrate our engagement ". He said then he wrapped his arms onto my shoulder.

Tumawa naman sina mama, papa at ate. Sayang naman wala si kuya ngayon.

Then nag dinner na kami. Masaya kaming nagkukwentuhan at napansin ko ding tahimik lang si Ate at si Rayver. Siguro nahihiya pa sila sa isa't isa.
