The Rage, The Menace

Say hello to the twin,
Phill that is him.
My mind warping,
Dancing with the devil's smile,
The midnight prayers,
My mind bends.

The wind floats,
So does my soul.
Man on the moon keeps playing,
I contemplate sanity and suicide,
Thoughts of happiness creep,
The other guy comes alive from sleep.

Pursuit of happiness he sings,
His soul bleeds.
Welcome to my notes;
The Outsider, the story goes,
The rage, the rave,
The night, I come out alive,
Deep down the cave,
My mind screams.

He is trying to win,
I won't let him sing,
The happy tales, like he's been-
Happy all is life,
Just pretence to make him smile,
What a loss.
The story continues;
Summer night on his bed;

Faded, gone off the flight,
When he feels free, off the fright,
This is the template,
The blueprint to the whole sad plate;
That he eats from.
The menace cup he drinks from,
Tonight the two sides conflict.
There is no truth in between.

Tales of the dark days,
Choose what you believe.
