It was junior year of high school for the seven. Obviously the seven teens who'd been best friends since freshman year.

And Piper had finally convinced everyone to audition for the school musical. Including Percy and Annabeth. The musical was finally Les Miserables and Piper wanted to hands down be Eponine, but she knew that Percy and Annabeth had the right vocal ranges for Marius and Cosette. So she signed them up without their permission, then sold them on it in that persuasive way she does.

Also, Jason was going for Enjorlas, Leo was going for some random part, Frank had somehow managed to stay out of it, and Hazel wanted to be Fantine. Luckily, Piper hadn't really worried about Jason, Frank, and Hazel. Leo, she decided needed something to do with all his free time.

So currently, Piper had managed to get them to do the pairs audition together, and Mr Apollo was nodding.

The next day, Apollo posted the cast list.

"What!" Percy cried as he scanned the cast list. Annabeth hid her face in her hands and turned red. They had been cast opposite as Marius and Cosette. Piper achieved Epoinine, and Hazel was cast as Fantine. Jason was actually cast as Jean Valjean, and somehow, which he decided to immediately ask Mr Apollo about, Frank was cast as Enjorlas. He didn't even audition. Leo made the ensemble.

It was almost the middle of the rehearsal process. Percy had made Annabeth mad, and currently they were staging A Heart Full of Love. Yeah, that's works out great.

Piper struggled to keep character. Finally, Mr Apollo groaned. "Take five everyone! Percy and Annabeth need to work out your issues. Take five, then let's run through One Day More. Just the vocals."

Piper sighed, then came up with an idea. While Mr Apollo tried to fix Percy and Annabeth's issues, Piper gathered their friends (Frank who shows up because Piper convinced him to take on the role, Jason, Hazel, Leo, and their new friend Calypso who for some reason was stuck in the ensemble)  and quickly started telling them her plan.

So, everyone sat in a circle on the stage, Percy and Annabeth still not looking at each other even though they sat beside each other.

Piper had filled Mr Apollo in on the plan. "Ok everyone!" He cried when everyone was settled. "I know we aren't staging this right now, but, when you are singing, stand up, and act out what you're singing. Even if, you are currently feuding with said person. Cough. Cough." *looks pointedly at Percy and Annabeth."

So, he motioned to the piano player, and One Day More began to play.

Piper sighed when Percy and Annabeth stood up for their little part and looked at each other with little emotion. Like, they were singing the words, "And yet with you my world has started," and they weren't acting it out.

So Piper stood up and started her part. "One more day out on my own."

She waited for Leo to give her a thumbs up before singing her next line. Hazel started humming. It caught on. It evolved into a melody. Piper pretended to look confused. Then she switched the words.

"There you see her. Sitting there across the way. She don't got a lot to say, but there's something about her."

Hazel stood up. They harmonized. "And you don't know why but your dying to try you wanna, kiss the girl."

The rest of the cast joined in, even though they didn't know about it at first. Their voices harmonized and they continued the acapella Kiss the Girl from the Littler Mermaid. As the song progressed, Percy and Annabeth began to realize the cast was singing to them.

Jason added another line. "Nows your moment, floating in the blue lagoon. Boy you better do it soon, no time would be better."

"It don't take a word, not a single word, go on and kiss the girl! Sha la la la la don't be scared you got the moon prepared, go on and kiss the girl. Sha la la la la don't stop now, don't try to hide it how, you wanna kiss the girl." The cast's voice rang through the theatre.

Annabeth looked at Mr Apollo, who shrugged, and started conducting them. Voices in perfect harmony, filling the large room and making it feel full.

Percy dug his fingers into his hair as his ears turned pink. Suddenly, Apollo stopped them. He motioned to the piano player, who started playing another romantic Disney song.

Jason and Piper began Can You Feel the Love Tonight. It was handed off to Hazel and Frank. And then surprisingly, to Leo and Calypso.

The piano player faltered, because there weren't any people who'd willingly step up and sing the  last few bars of the song.

A quiet murmur went through the theatre kids before Piper shushed them. Annabeth stepped center stage. "Can.." she began, "you feel, the love tonight." Her eyes were shut tightly.

"The peace that evening brings." Percy stepped forward and into the center of the theatre students.

They both began to sing. "The world for once, in perfect harmony. With all its living things."

The theatre kids backed them up. "Can you feel the love tonight. You needn't look to far. Stealing through the night's uncertainties. Love is where they are."

They never finished the song, because out of nowhere, applause erupted from the seats of the auditorium.

Grover the stage manager was front and center with a cheeky smirk. He's gathered the stage crew and some friends from choir. Will Solace from the back of the auditorium shouted, "Do what the song says! Kiss her Percy!"

Percy blushed and looked down. Annabeth caught his eye. "Seaweed Brain are you okay?"

Sighing, Percy looked up. His green eyes looked with her gray ones. "I've been better."

Annabeth locked her arms around his neck and kissed them. "How about now?" She asked when she pulled away.

Percy kissed her again. Then when he pulled away, he nodded. "Yeah. I am."

Piper smiled. It worked. Mr Apollo clapped his hands loudly. "As lovely as that was, let's get back to rehearsal people! We can't do A Heart Full of Love now! Let's just do run through what's we've got so far. Places!"
