The Raven

The Raven is a dark bird, shrouded in mystery and disguise. It has no prey, but exists in the world to confuse and charm those around during it. It may be noble, it may be lying, it may be normal, it may be strange. It may be loud, it may be silent, it may be obvious, it may be mysterious. But two things are for certain. The Raven is both beautiful and magical. And it holds the keys to life and death.

This next poem is an alteration of the Raven by Edgar Allan Poe.

Nevermore doth Raven say

Looking down at where I lay

Forevermore sitting there

Sitting there forever more

Upon the bust above my door

The Raven sits forevermore.
