(His POV, Yet again)

It was a totally pointless thing to think she'll still be at the hotel. Mouth dry, thoughts numb, yet weaving through the agonizing traffic, there was nothing more that I wanted than to be able to think straight.

The railway station zoomed in sight. I waited outside, looking around me in a blur of thoughtless moments, stuck in indecision and darkness.

I had no idea what I was going to do, because every thought was spiked with memories, huge-beautiful ones, which were heart wrenchingly painful now that I knew they were just memories.

I wasn't even sure that she'd still be where I hoped to find her, or anywhere for that matter.

The unbelievably long hours passed in a kind of stupor, with zero registration of my surroundings, even without any thoughts that could justify my insanity. It was as if someone else had done it. There was just a faint knowledge, that I was far, far away, somewhere I shouldn't have been, but apart from that it was just illegible darkness.
