I had just finished school and made my way over to Luke's house. It was a cute little house to say the least. This was the day I was going to show Luke's parents the song he wrote for his mother. I really wanted to help them understand that his passion for music wasn't a waste of time.

How it meant everything to him, and that he was terribly sorry that he ran away from home. Of course I didn't tell Luke that I was doing this, so it made it really awkward when he poofed onto the doorstep right as I approaching the door.

"Sammie what are you doing here?" He asks stunned for a second to see me standing there.

I blushed " Umm well I wanted to give your parents the song you wrote. Let them know how talented you are and that despite you dying, you got to do something you loved," I looked down at my feet as I confessed. Knowing I could never lie to him.

The feeling of his hand on my cheek caused me to glance up into his beautiful eyes. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, placing a kiss on my forehead.

"That's incredibly sweet of you Sammie," he exclaims pressing the doorbell moving away so his parents didn't freak out upon seeing their dead son.

I waited a few seconds, extremely nervous since this was far out of my comfort zone. Usually I tended to avoid strangers at all costs, simply because I'm socially awkward. After a few seconds the door opened revealing Luke's dad.

"Can I help you?" He asks with a kind smile as he looked down at me.

"Hi, are you Mr Patterson?" I questioned already knowing the answer, I was just being polite.

"Yes, and you are?" He replies, out of the corner of my eye I saw Luke tense up and I really wanted to hold his hand.

"I'm Samarah, my god family and I live in the house your son's band practiced in. I've found a song your son Luke wrote," I explained as he lead me into the house. Inside were pictures of baby Luke which were adorable.

Just then Luke's mother came into the room. I smiled at her as I felt Luke's presence behind me. Close enough we were almost touching.

"Did I hear the door?" She asks her husband before seeing me standing there shyly.

"Yeah, this is Samarah. She lives in the house Luke's band rehearsed in," he says placing his hand on her back.

"I found this song Luke wrote about a girl named Emily," I explained why I was there as I clutched the song in my shaking hands.

"I'm Emily," she says placing a hand on her mouth as I handed her the paper.

"Then I think he wrote it for you," I conclude, already knowing that he did.

She took the paper and together they both read it. Tears escaped Emily's eyes as they took in the heartfelt lyrics scribbled across the page. It only took a few minutes for them to look it over, both touched and sad.

"Thank you for giving this to us," Emily says placing a hand gently on my shoulder giving it a light squeeze.

"Its no trouble," I say offering up a smile "Actually thats not all that I came here for. You see I'm a medium. Luke has reached out to me on the other side. He's here now," I explained hearing Luke gasp, not knowing I'd tell them I could see him.

"What do you mean?" His dad asks with a confused look as he gazed at me wearily.

I glanced over at Luke offering him my hand "It's alright," I say and soon he takes my hand. Gasps were heard as the parents gazed at their son for the first time in 25 years.

"Luke, is that really you?" Emily asks, tears glistening down her cheeks.

Luke was just as teary eyed "It's really me mom," I reached forward wiping away the tears falling down his face.

"I can't believe it," he dad states with wide eyes, looking shockingly at the ghost of his dead son.

"I can't stay long, but I wanted you to know that I'm sorry for running away. If I hadn't then maybe the guys and I wouldn't have died. Id still be here and you wouldn't have to grieve," Luke apologizes and deep down I felt my heart ache for him and he parents.

"We forgive you Luke. God at least you're at peace right?" His mother says reaching out to touch him only to have her hand go right through.

"How are you able to touch him?" She asks looking at our entwined hands which were still together so he could finally talk to his parents before he crossed over.

"He's channeling my energy which is why he has to touch me in order for you to see him," I replied, it wasn't a total lie but I felt like they wouldn't understand the whole truth.

"Thank you for letting us see him one last time," she says before they said goodbye to Luke and he let go of my hand shortly after saying he loved them.

"You're welcome. I use my ability to give people who've lost loved ones closure, I feel great helping people," I say as his dad lead me to the door. Luke already ghosted back home as soon as he let go of my hand.

I said goodbye to the Patterson's before driving back home. As I got back into the studio, I was pulled into strong arms. Then lips crushed into mine making me gasp as I saw Luke before my eyes closed.

After a few seconds he pulled away resting our foreheads together. He smiled at me " I love you,"

I felt my heart flutter as my cheeks turned pink "I love you too,"

Alex watched the scene before him from his hiding spot in the loft. He was happy for his best friends but sad that they'd soon be separated in the cross over. Why did all good things have to come to an end? Stupid Caleb..........
