*Daniel POV*

"So are you excited for next week?" Felix asks.

"Whats next week?" Bree asks, completely oblivious that she is in fact a werewolf and she will find her mate next week. I just hope Felix doesn't slip up and spill the beans.

"Your birthday. You finally get your ma-"

"Felix can I talk to you in private?!" I ask. I remember telling him that she didn't know. Maybe he just needs a reminder, *mentally cracks knuckles*.

"Uh sure?" he says, well more like questions. I give him a look that says 'you-are-so-going-to-get-your-ass-kicked' as we walk into the kitchen.

"Yeah?" Felix asks nervously.

"What did I tell you?" I ask, jumping on the counter, grabbing an apple, and throwing it into my left hand, then to my right, and so on.

"Ummmm," he thinks, "was it that your sister, the beta's daughter, might I add, is completely oblivious that she is in fact a werewolf?" he asks with sudden confidence.

"Don't use that tone with me."

"Why you're not my Alpha."

"You're right. I'm Beta, and if you didn't realize that, the Beta title is higher than Third in Command, that you got stuck with. One more slip up and I will have your head on a silver platter," I threaten throwing the weak apple at him. Unfortunately he catches it.

*Bree's POV*

I wake up to my alarm clock going off. I slam my hand down on the snooze button, wishing thats what I was doing. I swing my legs off of my bed, and walk into my bathroom. I stirp down, step in, and let the beams of hot water relax my tense muscles. I then massage my vanilla shampoo, wash it out, same with conditioner and get out.

I walk into my room, get dressed in a simple pair of dark wash skinny jeans, a light blue tank top that has designs in a darker color blue, a black leather jacket, and a pair of midnight black converse. I leave my hair in it's natural blonde wave and to top it all off a light blue beanie. Next make up. Just to clarify I am NOT one of those girls that plaster a mask onto their faces. All I put on is foundation, mascara and eyeliner. I grab my book bag and run down the stairs for food, my love. It surprises everyone that I'm not fat yet, even me.

"Hey," I greet my brother and his friends as I pass the living room to go into the kitchen to get my Cutie. "Oh and Danny you're taking me to school today," I say walking back into the living room, Cutie in hand.

"I can't today," he replied.

"I'm not walking through that!" I say, pointing outside to the pouring rain, I kid you not I can't even see the road.

"You're gonna have too."

"Why can't you take me to school?"

"Cause I'm taking my friends."

"Well, how come you aren't making them walk? Or drive themselves?"

"Does anyone want to take Bree to school?" Daniel asks his friends. None of them answered. "See?"

"Fine, I'll call Felix and be late for school," I say.

"No, you're not going to be late for school. I'll take you," he sighs.
