Chapter 5 - Xavier

*Bree's POV* 

The Alpha walks over and wraps his arms around me. "Mine." He growls.

"I'm sorry, I think you have the wrong person. I already have a mate," I say, very uncomfortable with the position we are in.

"Mine," he let's out a growl from deep inside his chest.

"Honey, do you have two mates?" my mom asks me.

"Yeah, or at least that's what my wolf says," I say, trying to get out of the Alpha's grip, he realizes and pulls me closer.

"How is that possible?" she asks herself. "Did your other one reject you?"

"No." 

"How do you have two mates, then?" she asks.

"How am  I supposed to know. I didn't even know I am a wolf until," I look at my watch, for a dramatic effect, " about three hours ago."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Alpha," my mom apologies, 'Man she's annoying,'  Angelina says.

'Agreed.'

"-We were wondering if Bree here," she gestures to me with her hand, "could join the pack."

"Of coarse, my Luna has to be in the pack," he says. I shift from foot to foot, getting even more uncomfortable in his hold.

"With all do respect, Alpha-" I start.

"My names Xavier," he says.

"Okay. As I was saying, with all do respect, can you remove your hands from me, I'm very uncomfortable," I say, as polite as I can. Let's just all agree, I'm not very polite.  He removes his arms from around my torso, but grabs my hand, I feel sparks erupt immediately. I mentally groan. 'I DON'T LIKE BEING TOUCHED!!!!!!' I mentally screamed my lungs out at him. 

"Alright," my mom continues, "When will she join the pack?"

"As soon as possible," he says.

"What the fuck do I not get asked for an opinion in this matter!" I yell. Every one looks at me, Daniel looks at me with a 'Drama-Queen' look.

"When would you prefer to join? Now? I can make that happen," Xavier says. 

I reply with, "I don't care when I join, but you should at least consider me in this conversation," I pout, pull my hand away, cross my arms, and plop on the ground, Indian style, like a five year old. Xavier raises an eyebrow at Daniel.

"She does that when she's pissed," he relpied.

"She can join tomorrow," Xavier said looking at me like 'okay-then' as I raised my chin and looked in the other direction.

"Alright, then, we'll see you tomorrow, Alpha," my mom said.

"Alright good night, Mrs. Summers," he looks at me one more time before saying, "Bye, Bree." When he says my name, I feel my heart speed up, he must have noticed, cause he smirked in satisfaction.

I get up off of the floor and walk to the car. Daniel sprints from behind me. "How do you have to mates?" he asked.

"I don't know. Let's look it up when we get home," I say and climb behind the passengers seat.

"Here it says, 'If your first mate rejects you, and the moon goddess realizes she was wrong-which is very, very, very, very rare- she will give you another mate,' but that can't be it because Seth didn't reject you. Right?" Daniel asked, looking up from his laptop as he questioned me.

"I think I'd know if he rejected me," I say looking over my laptop. I gasp, and look up.

"What? What is it? Did you figure something out?" he asks.

"Yes," he gives me a 'continue' look, "I want food." He throws a pillow at me. 

"I thought you actually had something."

"I did this is very valuable information, I mean if someone offered me food, and all I had to do was, get in a white van. Then, hell, I'd be in that van faster that you can say 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'." I give him a serious look. 

"Just go get food, I'll keep looking," he said.

"Okay," I said and scurried oout of my room, down the stairs, and into the kitchen. I open the pantry door and grabbed a can of soup, and a Pepsi. As I finish cooking the soup I get the feeling someone is watching me. 

I go over to the kitchen door, and reach for the door handle, slowly as my hand twitches. This reminds me of those movies where the girl reaches for the door cause she's 'curious' and then gets murdered. I finally reach the handle and pull the door open. I walk out and look everyway, before declaring there is nothing out here. I turn around and feel a hand slap against my mouth and wrap around my waist.  A spark erupts on the skin we are making contact with. That means it's Seth or Xavier. My moneys on Xavier, but I'm awesome like that, plus I can smell him. "Hi, Bree," he whispers in my ear, his voice different that before, more attractive. 

"Hi, Xavier," I say, but his hand is still on my mouth so it sounds like a baby trying to speak. 

"Oh, sorry," he says, removing his hand from my mouth, and moving it to meet his other hand around my waist. 

"Can I help you?" I ask, trying to get to the point.

"I missed you," he said, I couldn't help but blush. And I don't blush often but when I do, I feel special. 

"You saw me less than an hour ago," I state.

"Can't I miss my mate?" he asks, prtending to sound hurt.

"Sure, but that doesn't mean you have to sneak to my house and eight o'clock."

"Would you've prefered 8:01? Maybe 8:02?" he asked.

"Aright, Smart Guy, what are you really doing here?" I asked.

"I missed you. Do you not believe me?" he asked, in fake disbelif.

"I'll believe you when Hell freezes over," I state and walk away into my house, slaming the door to help prove my point. I walk into the living room, soup and hand, and feel a cold breeze wash over the room. The window was open, so I walked over, shut it and locked it.

"That was cold, you know," a voice states from behind me. I jump literally, three feet into the air.

I recover and confront him. "What are you doing her Xavier?" 

"Alright you caught me. I just wanted to do this," he says, and before I have time to comreahend, his lips crash onto mine. I pull away, and start pushing him out the door, once he's finally out I slam the door and run upstairs, into my room. 

"Find anything?" I asked my brother, who was behind his computer. 

"Only one thing that makes sense, it says, 'Only those that are to one day be the mighty, loved Moon Goddess, can have two mates, however, the to-be Moon Goddess will have to pick between the two mates. The choice will take great debating, and on top of all of that, they will be Alpha's over very strong packs." 

"What does all that mean?" I ask.

"In simple form, you're going to be the Moon Goddess," he says.

"
