Wow, I've never read something so fake.

They were never happy to hear about what I wanted to be...

But, it's worth going back to see how everything has been.

Even though they thought I was dead.

"Ah thank you so much!" I thanked Hotaru.

  I took out the small knife that could still kill demons.

  "Why exactly did you need that?" He asked.

  "Makes a battle faster..."

  "Well, I have to go somewhere again thank you!" I said smiling.

  "It's no problem."

  I then ran toward a house. I need to talk...

  I knocked hoping he was here.

  The door slides open revealing Giyuu.

"Why are you here?" He asked.

"I wanted to talk about something."

  Giyuu moved his body to the side letting me in.

  I sat down on the floor fidgeting with my fingers.

  "I got a letter from my family..." I let out.

  "And?" He said.

  "They thought I've been dead."

"It wasn't a very long letter either," I said.

"Are you okay with going back to see them?"

"Yeah, I also have a mission there." I was nervous, to be honest.

I haven't seen my family in years, to make matters worse I left on a bad note.

My mom was the one who hated the thought of me being a demon slayer the most.

  "Then there's not much to talk about, they may actually be missing you. You should start preparing to leave." Giyuu told me.

"You're right, well thanks for the talk."

"Before I go can I ask you something?" I asked him.

"What happened with your family?"

I put my white haori on.

I was all done getting ready now, it was time to leave.
