Chapter 2: Arthur and Fran

I may be a mage but I'm also still a knight at heart. It's been, let's say, 3 years? I started travelling at the age of 11 and I'm already 14 years old.

I've already been in so many places and so many countries. But I avoided some places that the locals said to be dangerous even for mages like us.

Currently, I'm travelling to a country or maybe a kingdom? The country is called, "Royal Celesteria" I should say that it's a kingdom. Usually when I travel in a new country, kingdom or town, I always look for their leader.

Why do you ask? Well, I just thought that they know a lot about the place more than the ordinary locals.

I went to the king and seeing that I'm a mage, he asked me to be a teacher here. The king also said that he also asked a witch to become a teacher here. Well, I might get along with that witch. After all, in my 3 years of travelling, I......never even met a mage. So this is the first time in years that I met one.

I immediately went to the said school. Seeing the grand school gate and the beautiful facade of the building, I thought to myself.

Arthur: Why didn't my father sent me here to study magic? I mean, look at all of this. A large campus, there are so many students and not to mention their already practicing intermediate magic.

Then one of the guards saw me and asked me for my permit.

Arthur: Here ya go.

Guard: I see, it seems like the king requested you to become a teacher.

Arthur: Well, not for long I guess, maybe a few months or maybe a year.

Guard: Well then, goodluck, Mr. Arthur.

I smiled and I proceeded to enter the gate. I cast a little spell as this gate requires some magic in order to open.

Then I entered the campus and the students are just gazing upon me.

Student 1: Hey look, is he new here?

Student 2: He's wearing blue robes. Maybe he's new here, I mean I can't recognize his origin based from his clothes.

Arthur: Of course you wouldn't know where I came from because I just arrived here you idiot!

Then I asked one of the students where is the faculty room and they pointed the way.

Timeskip. Faculty Room.

I entered the faculty room and then I saw a woman wearing witch robes, black long hair with her bangs covering the left side of her face. Then I saw a brooch on the left side of her chest.

Arthur: "Stardust Witch" that's your witch name right?

???: Yep but I didn't gave you my name first. That's a bit rude y'know.

Arthur: S-sorry! A-anyways, I'm a new teacher here at this school. I'm Arthur, the Mage of Flowers.

???: *gasp* Wait, did you say.......the Mage of Flowers!? As in the Mage of Flowers!?
