Chapter 70

Slowly I walked downstairs slightly nervous

I mean how do I go to Sirius and ask him 'hey can I go to my vault in Gringotts because my dead uncle who I just found out about left me a gift'. As I just thought about him random tears just fell down. However I was quick to fight them off

When I made it to the dining room I saw that everyone was in there, including several of the order members, who I assume are staying for dinner

"Hey Ophelia" Tonks greets as she is the first to notice me

"Hey"

Molly suddenly gasps rushing over "Why are you crying dear?"

I see Sirius get worried from where he was sitting now on full alert

"Don't worry Molly it's nothing bad"

"But please tell me why your crying" She pauses and turns to her kids "What's her favourite food?"

"Strawberries" They all say however Harry was in fact the first to answer. Instantly Molly sits me down and hurries off

"Bambi are you okay?" Sirius worriedly asks

"I'm okay" I sigh. When I was about to ask him Molly returns with a small pot of strawberries which I reply with a thanks. She expectantly watches as I eat the first one then happily sighing when she notices the smile on my face

"So what were you doing?" Ginny speaks up "We didn't know where you were and then you suddenly come down crying like what did you do?"

"I found-" I slightly hesitated wondering if I should tell them "I found out that I have an uncle"

Ginny rolls her eyes "Yeah no shit he's sitting right there"

I chuckle slightly as Molly tells off Ginny for her choice of language

"No Gin I have another one, Regulus Black"

Everyone went silent and turned to Sirius who was sat frozen. Orion who was beside Padfoot moved away as he took a slightly angry deep breath

"How did you find out about him?" Was all he asked

"Kreacher"

Instantly he shot up heading to the door but I got up quickly and stood in his way

"Ophelia" He warned

"No" I replied "You are not going to go shout at Kreacher because I'm glad he told me"

"But did he tell you everything?" He angrily questions "How my brother became a deatheater"

"He didn't want to" I fired back

In a way I couldn't believe me and Sirius were on the start of having a huge argument. I mean we have never had a proper one before it was always a jokey one

"Yeah well he turned his back on me and your mother"

"No he did not" I raise my voice "You do not understand how much pain he was in when you left home and he couldn't. You never saw how much pain he was in to see you happy with Remus and James. He wanted to have you around. He missed you"

"But yet he betrayed us"

"And I know he did that but he felt extremely guilty, he never wanted to be a deatheater. He wish he had the courage to run away like you did and be free from the rules of the House of Black" I snapped "He then sacrificed his own life - DYING - to try and save this world"

I had managed to silence Sirius as he just stared at me

"And I am proud to call him my uncle for what he's done" I finish

Everyone just stared at me unsure of what to say

"Oh and he's the reason I even have the name Ophelia" I add

A hurt expression flashed onto Sirius' face as he clutched his heart "I gave Andromeda so many suggestions" He gasped jokingly

"But my mother promised Regulus that as he was never destined to have his own daughter"

Sirius just took a deep breath and returned to his seat after pouring himself a glass of firewhiskey. I just watched him waiting for him to look back up at me which he eventually did

"Yes?"

"Can I go Gringotts?"

"Why? He asked raising an eyebrow

"I have a gift waiting for me in my vault"

He hesitantly pondered in his mind unsure of whether to deny or accept my request. However in the end he replied with a "Fine". From the corner of my eye I saw the rest of the kids about to open their mouths to protest however Sirius spoke again

"But you must have an adult with you at all times"

"Okay" I replied before looking at all the adults "So who wants to come with me?"

Unexpectedly Tonks stands up "ME" She excitingly says making her way over to me wrapping an arm around my shoulder

"Are you being serious?" Sirius says not noticing his choice in words

"No she's being Tonks" I smirk

We all just watch as Sirius groans finally realising his mistake before turning back to us "But really?"

"Why can I not have bonding time with my cousin?" Me and Tonks both question

"Sure whatever" He dismisses

"You can go after dinner" Molly interrupts moving us back to our seats

"So your saying that little Ophelia over there can go out but she can't do magic yet here we are of age and we have to stay inside" The twins state

"Yes" Molly blankly replies

"THAT'S NOT FAIR"

"Hush" She scowled "She's being escorted there and back by an auror so she's in capable and protected hands"

"Still why can't we?"

"Because you two are too immature and would run off from whoever is with you" She replied "Plus Ophelia and Tonks are only going to one location and that's it"

"That's what you think" The twins mutter

"Excuse me?"

"Their probably going to have a grand old time and go on a shopping trip-"

I interrupted them "Sorry boys I already went on a shopping trip at the beginning of summer with Tonks and was told their not restocking the shelves with new things till September"

Both of them just glared at me since I had ruined their slight plan of persuasion. Eventually though dinner was ready and we all ate it somehow in piece however I still got jealous looks from the boys. Once we were finished I got cleaned up before Tonks joined me

"Ready to go?"
