CHAPTER 1: The Empress Of Elyfimia

Nagising sa isang panaginip si Cana dahilan ng pagkakahulog niya sa kama. Isang malakas na kalampag galling sa tunog ng paglapat ng kaniyang katawan sa sahig ng kaniyang silid.

"Langya naman...." Bulalas ni Cana. Napadaing siya sa sakit na namutawi sa katawan niya ng mahulog sa kama. Dahan dahan siyang bumangon at hinaplos ang likod niya. She sat at the edge of her bed and look at the clock at the left side of her bed. It's only four in the morning. She only slept for two hours. She sighed because there are so many things to do.

She stand up and go straight to her bathroom to clean herself. Habang nasa ilalim ng shower naalala niya ang kaniyang panaginip.

"I hope it's not true." She said. Hindi mawala sa kaniyang alaala ang panaginip na iyon na pinangkilabutan niya.

"Hindi naman mangyayari iyon. So relax Cana." She motivated herself. After her bath she wears over the shoulder long sleeve plain white gown. It has a golden white floral lace from the waist to the ankle. Nakalugay lang ang kaniyang brushed-out wave silver hair na ikinabagay sa kaniyang bloody ruby eyes. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed before she smiled. She never wore any shoes or sandals when she walked outside because she's not comfortable with it.

She walk out in her room with elegance and dominating aura. She must show herself with confidence since that is what she must to do. Nagtungo siya sa dining area para mag almusal. Pagkadating niya sa silid nakahanda na ang kaniyang almusal. As usual, si Tiffany lang ang maid na nasa gilid upang asikasuhin siya. Ayaw na ayaw niya na mayroon ibang maid na nakakakita sa kaniya maliban na lang ditto kay Tiffany. Only the High Priest, the Commander and Tiffany knows her face.

She sat at the chair of the long table. May masayang ngiti ang nakalagay sa kaniyang mukha dahil sa mga paboritong pagkain na nakikita niya. May adobong manok, may lumpiang ubod, may laing din, may lechon kawali, at syempre may kanin din.

Pinaglagyan siya ng kain ni Tiffany sa kaniyang pinggan at siya naman ay naglagay ng tela sa kaniyang hita para hindi ito madumihan. Kumain na siya ng almusal habang si Tiffany naman ay nasa isang tabi sakaling may iutos si Cana. Namayani ang katahimikan sa dining area na normal lang sa kaniya. Mas gugustuhin pa ni Cana ang tahimik na lugar at magsolo sa pagkain.

Natapos sa pagkain si Cana na wala man lang boses na lumalabas sa kaniya. She stood up and hurriedly went to the room of the Emperor, who is her father. She reached the door and opened it. She saw her father still lying on his bed.

Sinarado niya ang pintuan at pumunta sa gilid ng kama ng ama at umupo sa tabi nito. She caresses her father's head with teary eyes.

"Papa, wake up. Your little princess misses you so much." Hindi na napigilan ni Cana ang maluha. Isang butyl ng luha dumaloy sa pisngi niya. "Please, I really need you right now." Cana beg to her father but no answer from him. It's already 13 years since she last saw her father well and good. Simula ng ngyari ang trahedya noong limang taong gulang plang siya hindi na nagising pa ang kaniyang ama.

"Your grace, may I come in?" usal ng isang pamilyar na boses.

"You may enter" saad niya hanbang nakatingin pa rin sa kaniyang ama.

Pumasok ang isang babae at Hindi halata ditto ang katandaan. She looked at the High Priest and then smile. She calmed herself and dry her tears from the pain of the past. The High Priest bow down to her.

"Raise your head, what's the matter?" she asked the priest while the priest was still standing near the closed door.

"The Queen from the Butyyl Kingdom is ill from an unknown disease. The doctors are doing their job to cure her and they said that the disease is not contagious. Also, I already sent some of the Elfymia soldiers since they have crisis because of the wild beast." Ulat ng Priestess.

"Wild beasts? What do you mean? And how does the Queen get this disease?" with furrowed forehead she asked the Priestess. Hindi siya mapalagay sa mga impormasyon na natanggap. Okay lang kaya ang reyna? Sino may gawa nito? Anong binabalak niya? Impossibleng magkaroon ito ng sakit lalo na hindi ito nakakahawa, isa lang ang ibig sabihin nito.

"The wild beasts are suspiciously attacking every town under the jurisdiction of the Queen. Also, it happened after the Queen got ill. And one thing that got me curious is that most of the wild beasts are high levels." Saad ng Priestess sa kaniya.

"I see. It seems that someone want something to the Queen or maybe they want revenge or they want the Queen's power." Cana suggested. "Whose soldiers did you sent?" she asked.

"From the battalion of Kapitan Onse, Kapitan Sais, and Kapitan Syete, Your Grace." Saad ng High Priest. Sapat na ito para tulungan puksain ang mga wild beasts at syempre ang mga bataylon ng Kapitan ay ang pinaka malapit sa lugar ng Kahariaan Butyl. Napapalibutan ng dagat ang kahariaan na ito kaya ay mga syudad nito ay mga isla rin. Mukhang mahihirapan ang mga Kapitan ngunit madami man ipinadala ang High Priest. Sa isang Kapitan mayroon itong limang libong mandirigma na pwedeng hatiin para matulungan ang ibang syudad.

"That's good. Tell the other Kapitans that the three Battalions are sent to the Butyyl Kingdom. Also, tell them that they need to be alert and protect the cities that the three battalions left." Command by her.

"Yes, Your Grace." Talima ng Priestess. The High Priest left her alone with her sleeping father. Cana look at her father again and kiss him at his forehead.

"And one more thing," agarang saad niya sabay tingin ulit nang matalim sa kaniyang high priest na ikinatigil nito sa pagsara ng pinto 'please investigate what is the cause of the queens disease and also tell to King Asure that we need some of his men to cure the Queen of Butyyl disease immedieately.'

Tumango ang high priest at nagbigay galang bago umalis at iniwan silang mag-ama sa silid. Isang nakabibinging katahimikan ang namutawi sa pag-iisip ng emperetris bago ito tuluyang tumayo at nilapit ang mukha sa tenga ng kaniyang ama.

"I'll be back, Papa." She whispered to his ear and then she stood up straight and walked to the door. She opens the door and before she closes it she looks back to her father once again and left.

Mabilis siyang pumunta sa kaniyang silid at pumunta sa sekreto niyang silid na nasa dressing room niya. She open one of her closet which is mostly her favorite white gowns. Hinawi niya ito para makita ay likod ng closet niya.

She put her hand on the wall and there were lights to scan it. Then a beep sound came that indicated her voice recognition.

"Empress Cana of Elyfimia." She voices in. The wall disappeared and showed a hall for the secret room. She walked in with her chin up and head held high.
