Azumi stared in shock at Jonathan. "Wait.... you are a Shimada?! Then why are you fighting against your mother and sister? You must know that they do value traditionalism, even though the Shimada Style is liberal in tactics?"
Johnathan sighed before shaking his head. "I left willingly, so that I could come back and provide training and insight in the air for my family. But I was not expecting such a public challenge to the Western Teams, let alone the organization itself." The pilot sighed before pulling his hair back into a ponytail. "I was adopted into an Air Force family, and was set to become a good pilot. Now, this was known by Mother, but I did try to keep her attention on the future of Shensha-do and Alice, not the politics of another nation's sports."
Azumi nodded. Well, he does make good points, and he ultimately wanted to serve his family by keeping them controversy free. "I see.... Well, you can talk to them in person in a few hours..."
Timeskip - Evening, 1800 hours
Azumi's tank slowed to a stop in front the All Stars University field headquarters, with several Federation Infantry armed with Ariska rifles walked up and took Johnathan by the arms as he landed on solid ground, being half guided, half dragged through the front door, with Azumi following a few feet behind.
It wasn't long before the pilot was sat in front of Alice Shimada, the Commander of All Stars, and Chiyo Shimada, the Matriarch of the Shimada Clan of Shensha-do. Johnathan remained carefully neutral as his hands were bound behind the chair, pretty much keeping him in place as his eyes locked with Chiyo's. Azumi walked next to him before giving a respectful bow. "This is Commander Johnathan Smith, the Commander of the Ground Attack Aircraft from the Americans. We captured him after a group of Kuromuromine's fighters intercepted his attack group after they dropped their bombs on my unit. He made a revealing secret that may interest the both of you." Azumi went silent before stepping out of eyesight of Johnathan.
Alice stood and walked in front of her desk. "And that secret is, Mister Johnathan?"
Chiyo watched carefully as John closed his eyes before the mad lad spoke. "My cover name was Johnathan Smith, however, I am a Shimada, your older brother to be precise." The infantry in the room quickly moved to take the man before Chiyo held up her hand.
"You are quite brave for revealing yourself, my son. But I do have one question: Why do you fight for them, instead of for your family?" She knelt down to eye level with Johnathan, awaiting the answer, though she most likely knew it.
"Mother... while yes, they have coed teams and the like, they use the sport to teach history so that they would have the knowledge not to repeat it. I am fighting for the family, but I'm afraid that it means fighting against the Shensha-do Federation. Please forgive me for standing up for both family and principle." Johnathan smiled slightly before assuming a cold demeanor.
Chiyo sighed before hugging John before releasing him. "You are forgiven by me. But I'm afraid, since you are from Japan, Headmistress Nishizumi will have you under her control. I hope that she sees what I see in you." John only nodded before being led out by the guards and onto a truck.
Meanwhile - Western HQ - 1530 Hours
Miho and her team were led to what appeared to be a hotel by the German Guards. "Frau Nishizumi, you will be remaining here for the time as prisoner. We have standards for treatment of prisoners. You are, however, to remain here under guard. No leaving the building, but you will have privacy for your more... intimate things you need to do." The guard sighed before opening the door. "Each panzer crew has their own room. If you have questions, ask the Prison Warden, The Anglo by the name of Charles Wright."
Miho smiled and nodded. "Thank you so much! Right, ladies, let's get comfortable while we can!" Ooraii's tankers let up a shout of joy as they filed in in an orderly fashion. Miho smiled as she sat down in a chair. But before she got comfortable, Helga walked into the room, flanked by two Luftwaffe guards armed with Kar98 replicas. "Are you Miho Nishizumi?"
Miho nodded, paling and quite frankly, very intimidated. "Y-yes?" Helga made a 'follow me' gesture before turning around as the two guards quickly grabbed Miho by the guards, their grip becoming quite painful rather quickly.
As the group was making their way out of the hotel, a Panther and two Half-Tracks rolled to a stop, the latter unloading Wehrmacht infantry armed with MP40s and Kar96 replicas, aiming it towards the group. On top of the Panther, Erwin climbed out of the copula before pulling out his Luger, aiming it towards Helga. "Where are you taking the Commander of Ooraii?"
Hegla smirked, aiming her Luger at Rommel as her escorts held Miho tightly, making the girl whimper in pain. "Simply to show her German Hospitality, ja?"
Erwin frowned before motioning for his infantry to surround the pair. "You do not command anything but fighters within the Luftwaffe. She is a prisoner of the Wehrmacht, and thus, is under my protection and custody. You will release her back to the Prison Warden, and you will return to the airfield." Erwin looked at Miho with a pang of sympathy. Helga, you are a right bitch. If you weren't our best pilot, I would arrest you.
Helga remained silent before holstering her Luger, motioning for her escorts to release Miho. The guards shoved the young woman towards Rommel, who quickly caught her before Miho stumbled and fell to the ground. "Eventually, you will see that they are not to be trusted, Kommandant." Helga and her escorts walked away, sending the Panzer Commander deathly glares.
"I'm sorry, Miho. She hasn't been taught what has happened on the ground in the past. She reminds me of certain individuals that I've learned about." He holstered his Luger before taking his jacket off and wrapping it around Miho, guiding the grateful woman back to the hotel. "Oberlieutenant! Post up here! I do not want another incident like this again!"
The woman in question gave a crisp salute and began to bark orders. Erwin, on the other hand, was carefully guiding Miho back to her room. "Thank you, Commander Rommel. You didn't have to do that."
The German chuckled. "No problem. It is apart of my duties to make sure you all are taken care of." The pair chuckled as the two sat down to talk.
On the approach to the Powerplant - 1500 hours
Kuromuromine's panzers had managed to set up a defensive position, with Erika assuming the first watch. They were aimed towards the north, expecting an advance to come from the north. But who they were facing was something that wasn't to be easily predicted.
Upon the ridge to their west, Russian and American Tanks were posted up as Lee and Klara were overlooking the opposing defenses. "Looks like they are expecting a counterattack, but from the front." Lee commented before looking at Klara.
"Da. Though I would lead my forces from that direction as diversion as you attack from this ridge? You do have better gun depression on all your tanks compared to ours." Klara mused.
Lee shook his head. "I should be the diversion from this ridge. That will cause confusion before you hit them like a hammer from the front."
Klara sighed before nodding. "Agreed. We will attack at dawn? My forces are quite tired after a day of unloading and immediate dash here."
Lee nodded before smiling. "At 0700 hours. Good night, General."
"Good night, Commander." Klara smiled before walking towards her camp.
