The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl {Reader Insert}

Prologue: The dreamer twins

Second Person Pov:

There you were, both of you. Standing in front of the class journals in hand and nervous. You both took a deep breath and started.  "Sharkboy was not always half-shark half-boy," Max starts. "He was a Marine Biologist, or at least in training." He continued "His father studied great white sharks, and called his son 'sharkboy,' because of how much he loved to care for the sharks." Again Max had continued.  "He made them sushi and given them all names, Goodmilk, Peggy, Eggbatt, and Crakett." You named. "But one day an incredible mysterious storm appeared." You said "It swept away the entire laboratory." You finish. "Thanks to the life rafts Sharkboy and his father survived." Max says. "But on different sides of the wreckage." You finished. "Each floating off in a different direction." Said Max. "Sharkboy was completely alone." He started "Almost completely." You finished. 

"But one of the sharks recognized him." Max states "They took sharkboy to their cave home, where he'd be safe and dry." He continued. "His new family were sharks..........Hundreds of sharks." You say. "They raised him as one of their own, training him in the ways of the shark." Your brother says. "To live by instinct and instinct alone. Eventually he grew gills, and sharp talons for claws. His teeth sharpened themselves to a point, and he grew fins. All sorts of fins." You say describing him. "But that was years ago." Max starts. "We first met Sharkboy fishing at the dock this summer." You say. 

"He seemed lost." You both say (Hmm I see a little bit of ✨Twintuition✨ going on between you two.). "So we snuck him home." You say. "When our parents were to busy to notice." Says Max "We kept him fed and in water." You say (Ok but like bruh is anyone else wondering how Max did that with the whole 'shower full of water' thing like wtf how🤨) "He had been traveling the universe, in search of his father." Max said (You guys see what I'm doing right you guys are kinda transitioning between parts good but the real question here is did you guys practice this hmm????) "He had told of of his latest adventures," you started "On a planet so cool," Max continued "It makes you drool." You both say in sync (Again with the Twintuition I swear if you both turn into Missy and the other (Y/n) I'm gonna- *clears throat* I'm sorry I got a little carried away there for second please continue.) 

"He said that we too could go to planet drool someday." Max said. "Then one night we were visited by a glowing light" Max continued. "An amazing girl with purple flames for hair (Bruh ok can someone explain to how TF Lavagirl's hair looks purple maybe I'm just color blind but I see pink who on god great green earth sees PURPLE like wtf anyway I'm getting ahead of myself please keep reading.) and skin of Molten-lava rock appeared (another thing does anyone else wonder how Lg got into the hose without making a noise or burning anything No? just me ok carry on)." you say "We called her Lavagirl," You say "She smiled  at us for that seemed to be her name." Max finished. 

"She told us that she needed Sharkboy, to return with planet drool with her." You say (Ngl typing 'you said Max says' and all that bullsh- I mean crap is getting really tiring but I'll do it for you guys 😁). "Because a great crisis was developing." Max said. "She asked us to go with them but we told them 'we have school tomorrow'." You say "She gave us a sad look and flamed away, taking Sharkboy with her." Max said. "We haven't seen Sharkboy or Lavagirl since then." You say

"And that's what we did this summer." You both say looking up from your journals at the class. And then everybody started throwing paper balls at you two. You hid behind your brother for protection. You take a peek from behind his shoulder and see a paper ball coming  your way and quickly dodge it moving back behind your brother. "Enough." Says your teacher Mr. Electricidad. "Now someone's gonna have to pick that up." He says. "And it's not gonna be me." He said looking at the rest of the class. "We were supposed to tell true stories." Says Linus you and your brother's main bully. "That is a true story." You rebuttal showing yourself a little from behind Max's back. "Does Lavagirl have special powers?" A girl upfront, Marissa, Mr. Electricidad's daughter asks (Bruh imagine having to have the last name Electricidad dude the embarrassment is real 😂.) "There is no such thing as Sharkboy and Lavagirl." He dad told her but Max kept flipping through is journal anyway. "She can shoot lava out of her hands." Max says while doing a shooting motion with his hands. "Cool." She says smiling and shrinking down in her seat.

You saw the way your brother looked at that girl and you new that you were gonna make it happen. You smirked thinking of a plan to get them together. But those thoughts were interrupted by your teacher (Being a dick ok let me stfu there could be kids reading this😂). "Does anyone think that Max and (Y/n)'s story is true?" He asked the class then there was a series of 'No' 'It's a fake story' and 'It's not real' you get the point but no one believed you. You frowned but you soon had a small smile on your face when you saw Marissa raise her hand symbolizing she thought it was true. 

"If it's true why don't you bring Sharkboy and Lavagirl to school tomorrow?" Said Linus. You scoffed at him he heard you and looked you dead in the eyes you let out a tiny squeal and again shrunk behind your brother. "They went away, we don't know where they went." Max said. Mr. Electricidad came up behind you two and told you to take a seat. Then he called Linus up to tell everyone about his summer. As you two passed he tripped your brother and bumped you. "This summer I met a new friend, two actually." He started. One was half dork half boy, the other was the same but a girl." He said you new were this was going and you didn't like it. "I called the them Dorkboy and Dorkgirl. But their real names were Max and (Y/n)." He said at this point you wanted to disappear. "We had them for dinner but they stunk so bad we all, blew chunks." He finished.

Now everyone but Marissa and Mr. Electricidad was laughing. You wanted to cry but you didn't you just sulcked into your desk again wanting to disappear. "That's enough Linus." said Mr. Electricidad. The bell rang "Everyone go Linus, Max, (Y/n) you stay." He said as everybody rushed out the room. Then there was a short rant about how to pronounce Mr. Electricidad's name but who cares about that. Anyway after everyone left Mr Electricidad had a talk with all of you. "Linus you earned a minus for your behaviour today." He spoke to Linus. "This is a new year," He spoke "Do  you think you can be friends?" He asked. You and Max look at Linus, Linus looks at you two. "No." You all spoke turning your heads toward your teacher. "The it is decided." He said "You all will be the best of friends." 

"Which means no more picking on Max and (Y/n) Linus." He spoke Linus left after that. "Max, (Y/n) you're in the fourth grade, there are some good kids in this class. Find them." He spoke to you two. "Make friend with them. Dreaming keeps you from seeing what's right here in front of you. This isn't a dream, it's the real world." He said (Do yall notice how much they want from 4th grader's/10 year olds like damn let them live their still young like tf). You and Max were writing in your journals 'No Dreaming' "I just lost my train of thought." said Mr. Electricidad. "No dreaming got it we'll try harder." Max says while you guys are walking out the door. "Hey what do you have there?" Mr. Electricidad asks looking at your journals. "These are our dream journals." You say "They hold all of our most precious dreams in them." Max says. "And we'll never part with them for as long as we live." You both say walking out the door. "Your good kids." Mr. Electricidad said to you as you walk out the door. You turn to him and smile signaling that you heard him.
