Chapter 17

Anthony POV

I walk out of the house without another word and just stand outside the door. What the hell just happened.. I grab out my phone and call daveed, I don't know I just need to talk to someone. "hey Anthony i was about to head to the theatre, you good?" He asks

I look at the time and it's almost 1. "Oh yeah I'm about to leave as well but umm I was wondering if I could stay with you for a couple of nights?" I ask.

"Yeah sure, why?"

"Uh.. I think Me and Y/N just broke up"

"Wait seriously?"

"Yeah I'll tell you about it later I don't really wanna talk about it right now"

"Yeah sure of course" I hang up and start driving.

Y/N POV

I shouldn't have done that. What the hell am I even mad about?  I grab my phone and call Jazzy. "Oh hey Y/N Anthony left my place a while ago did you guys sort everything out?" She asks when she answers.

"Um no we- Uh we broke up" I say quietly, trying not to start crying.

"WHAT?? why?!" She almost screams.

"I don't even know, he came back and they I got mad at him for leavening and going to talk to you and then he got mad at me about mum and dad and then I dunno I just broke up with him" Well shit now I'm crying as I have to be at the theatre in 20 minutes.

"Wow. Ok I'll meet you at the theatre and you can explain more and if you need to you can move back in with me tomorrow but right now we have to go to work." She says.

"Ok, thank you" I hang up and quickly get ready and start driving to the theatre.

Jazzy POV

I arrived at the theatre and see Y/N getting out of her car. I walk over to her. "Are you ok?" I ask.

"Yeah I guess, I dunno. But I would prefer not to tell everyone right away so unless he already told the other please don't talk about it. I just can't deal with everyone talking about it right now" She asks.

"Yeah of course. But you know you should try to talk to him tell him you're  sorry and stuff, maybe you can fix it" I suggest.

"He hates me though, he just glared at me and walk out and I basically said his job sucked and our parents were right I don't think he wants to talk to me" she replies.

I nod and we walk inside and most people are there already. I look around and see Anthony and Daveed talking so I assume Anthony Told Daveed. "Hey stay here for a sec" I walk over to them. "Daveed can I talk to you for a sec?" I ask.

"Uh sure" We walk away from Anthony so he can't hear us.

"Did Anthony tell you what happened?" I ask.

"Yeah, it's so sad they were so cute together." He replies.

"Yeah I know, But I'm Y/N doesn't want to many people to know so don't tell anyone also how's Anthony dealing with it?"

"Well he's kinda just really depressed about it, he's staying with me for a while until Y/N moves out, I thought he'd be mad and he was a little but know he's just blaming himself saying stuff like he should quite his job and he should have talked to her and stuff" he explains.

"Man I hope they get back together, the whole thing is a big misunderstanding-" Lin cuts me off before I can continue.

"Yo everyone as most of y'all know Anthony's leaving next week so we got our knew guy Jordan Fisher. So basically we're gonna start by going though act one so he can see it and stuff then we'll teach him the choreography" Lin explains.

Ok so I think people are noticing something between Anthony and Y/N but so far no one's called them out.
"Alright alright that's what I'm talking about! Now everyone give it up for the maid of honour Angelica Schuyler!" Anthony says handing Y/N the glass but some of it spills.

For a second it feels like the whole room just stops. Everyone looks at them. The only sound you can hear is the splash of water on the stage. This has NEVER happened before, they're usually so perfectly timed and synchronous.

"What the hell was that?" Tommy says, standing up from his seat. Everyone still stares at them "what's wrong with you two today"

"Nothing" he shrugs.

"Come on guys everyone's noticed the tension on stage when your together what happened?" Lin asks.

"We're fi-" Y/N starts but Anthony interrupts.

"- we broke up"

"Wait what" Pippa asks confused.

"When did this happen?" Leslie asks.

"Earlier today" Y/N says.

"Why?" Oak asks.

There's silence for a sec while they both stare at each other. "It's complicated" I say.

"Ok well as much As I hate to say this y'all need to figure out how to work together real fast cuz we've got a show tonight and we can't have this fight ruining it" tommy says.

"Yeah sorry" Y/N says.

"Ok from the start of Satisfied"

*After the show that day*

"Ok Y/N Anthony y'all gonna tell us what happened now" Lin says after everything's calmed down a bit.

They both kinda just look upset and a little mad "She-" Anthony starts clearly about to get bad but Daveed stops him.

"Yeah if either of you true to explain it it's not gonna end well. Basically there went over to Y/N's parents house and I guess they're not exactly supportive of actors or artists and it caused this whole big argument. If they want you guys to know the details they'll tell you" he explains.

"Wait so where are y'all living?" Oak asks.

"I'm moving out tomorrow" Y/N says.

"I'm staying with Daveed until she does" Anthony replies. They haven't even looked at each other this whole time.

I walk over to Daveed. "You should tell him your sisters coming and you forgot or Emmy's staying with you or something" I whisper.

"Why? We can't force them to get back together" he whispers back.

"I know but they need to talk, besides it's only one night. Also I love putting them in awkward situations" I reply.

"I'm so glad I didn't grow up with you you would have been a nightmare" I just smile and he rolls his eyes. "Actually Anthony I'm so sorry my sister just texted, her car broke down near here and she needs a place to stay."

"Oh...Ok yeah that's fine" he says awkwardly. "Um oak or Lin do you have a spare room or couch or something?"

Oak glances at me and daveed so we just shake our heads "uh yeah no sorry man, old friends staying at my place for a bit"

Anthony looks at Lin instead "groff's sleeping on the couch tonight so we don't have any space sorry" Lin shrugs

"I am?" Gross asks. Oh come on everyone else caught on quick, he couldn't"

"Yes Jonathan you are. Cuz you get too hot in our room remember?" Lin replies and everyone kinda just looks at them.

"Uh yeah it's cool, don't worry about it.."
