You came into the Curtis' living room all wet from the rain pouring outside. Sodapop took one look at your miserable self and bursted out laughing.

"Oh, shut up, Soda." you made a face and wiped the water off your face with your hands.
"You look hilarious with your hair all flat like that." he said before laughing one more time.
"Tickle me, Sodapop Curtis." you said sarcastically
"I will once you dry up and not look like you just wrestled a seal." he snorted before getting up and grabbing a towel.
"Seriously though. Dry up, Y/N. I don't want you to catch a cold. I'll lay out some clothes for you to wear." he draped the big blue towel over your shoulders and put his arm around you.
"Thanks, Soda." you smiled at him. It was then when you realized that you thought of Sodapop Curtis as more than just a friend.
