"Hey, Sophia. Come to sit with us today?" Blaise asked as I walked into my usual Slytherin friend's compartment.
"Yeah. Harry kind of kicked me out because he wanted to have boy-talk with Ron." I rolled my eyes. "I'm pretty sure he's lying to me. Anyway, how was your summer?"
"Mine was-" Blaise was cut off.
"Soph!" Pansy screamed, jumping on me.
"Oof! Pansy!" I cried. "You're not as light as you look!"
"Rude. I just missed you." She pouted.
"I missed you too, Pansy." I sighed, hugging her.
"As I was saying, my summer was fine. How was yours?" Blaise glared at Pansy, who shrugged in response.
"It was fun. I stayed with the Weasley's the whole time." I told them.
"I'm sorry." Pansy said with pity.
"Thanks." I rolled my eyes. "They're actually quite fun, the lot of them."
"Wonderful. Sophia is now a softie." I looked up to see Draco walk into the compartment with Crabbe and Goyle.
"So what if I am?" I raised an eyebrow. He stayed silent as he put his bag on the overhead. Suddenly, the whole compartment was filled with black smoke. "What the hell?"
"Pansy, get off of me!" Blaise shouted and I heard a thump, along with an 'ow!'.
"What was that? Blaise?" Draco hissed.
"Don't know." He muttered back after coughing.
"Relax, boys. It's probably just a first-year messing around." Pansy told them. "Come on, Draco. Sit down. We'll be at Hogwarts soon."
"Hogwarts. What a pathetic excuse for a school." Draco scoffed after plopping down next to Pansy. "I think I'd pitch myself off the Astronomy Tower if I had to continue for another 2 years."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Pansy asked.
"Let's just say I don't think you'll see me wasting my time in Charms next year." Draco said, making Blaise snigger. "Amused, Blaise? We'll see just who's laughing in the end."
"What's wrong with you, Draco? This isn't like you." I glared as he looked up at the overhead compartment.
"Nothing's wrong with me." He glared back, huffing.
The train slowed to a stop at the station, and I got excited to be back home again. Pansy, Blaise, and I got up and walked to the door, but turned around to see Draco sitting there.
"You three go on. I want to check something." He said.
"You heard him." Blaise said, pushing me and Pansy off the train.
"Sophia, did any of you see Harry?" Hermione ran up to the three of us.
"I haven't. Guys?" I turned to the 2 Slytherins who glared at Hermione and Ron.
"No." Blaise shook his head and so did Pansy.
"We haven't seen him since he left the compartment a couple of hours ago." Ron explained.
"Hey, what a coincidence. A couple of hours ago, a powder bomb went off in our compartment!" Pansy giggled.
"No, not a powder bomb... A Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder." I sighed. "You guys go on. I bet that's why Draco wanted to stay behind."
"Potter was spying on us?" Blaise hissed.
"Please, Blaise." I shook my head.
"Sorry. Come on, Pansy, Granger, Weasley. I'm hungry." Blaise huffed, leading the way. Pansy quickly followed while Hermione and Ron stood there, confused. "Quickly!"
