Sprawled snake-pair tangled    on the earth-bed

boat they sail light like

aluminum vessels in a mithai shop

spill honey to ant-lips in the groove,

and when breeze sings a warm elegy,

less than 24-carat gold-pools pull them in for a meal.

A sun-beanie woven by their own thread-tails,

awake

on the line that parts and fails,

like burnished-leaf and swinging sole,

a pick up from the garbage truck

where walls go and hide.

wriggling their tips they tear sheet of blue

into holes stretching a loop,

where-in jump the grey marble tiles,

how-in       they fall     as

staircase trees slope-down like

an orange sky peeking through

the peep-hole of liquid stark well.
