"Do you ever wear your own clothes?" James laughed, looking at his girlfriend as she came downstairs for breakfast one morning. She was wearing one of his hoodies and a pair of his sweatpants.

Riley giggled, "what's the fun in that? Besides, your clothes are way more cosy"
"Oh I get it" James rolled his eyes playfully, "it's not like you spend a fortune buying new clothes for yourself every month. You might as well by me new clothes just so you can steal them"

Riley laughed and didn't disagree.

She poured herself a cup of coffee and sat beside him at the kitchen counter. They had recently moved into their first house and had never felt more in love.
There was something about waking up beside your love everyday that made life so much easier Riley thought. It gave her another reason to smile each morning.

James stole her steaming coffee cup and took a sip. "I have a confession, I kind of like it when you wear my clothes out because it's like a signal to tell other guys to back off"

"Hey get your own cup!" Riley grinned playfully, snatching her coffee back.
James faked offence, "well get your own clothes!"
She pouted, "no"
"Well then" James said casually, "I guess I'll just have to steal mine back"

Before Riley knew what was happening, he was tackling her and had bundled her onto the couch. He lifted up his own hoodie, revealing her bare body and began tickling her.

"James- stop" Riley spluttered, thrashing her arms around in fits of laughter.
James continued to tickle her sides, "not until you say you're a thief"
"No- ahh" Riley shrieked, "ok, ok I'm a thief!"

James relented, releasing her body from his grip and sitting back satisfied. Riley stuck out her bottom lip and frowned, pulling the hoodie back down over her skin.
"Not fair" she declared. "You're a thief too"
"Riley I can make you another coffee" James rolled his eyes laughing.

"You stole my heart" Riley said solemnly.

James flushed and looked at her serious expression with a smirk. He chuckled, "you're cute, you know that? Even when you say the cheesiest things"
He wrapped his arms around her petite body, pressing her back against the couch so he was hovering over her.

"Hi" Riley giggled as their noses touched. Her face folded into a slight frown as she looked up at him intently. "You know I don't need your clothes to tell other guys to back off, right? You're the only guy I'll ever want"

She bit her lip as she looked directly into the brown eyes that were only centimetres above her. She saw the crease of a smile by his eyes before he lowered his head and connected their lips tenderly.

"I know" he said when he pulled away, "it's just nice to see you in my clothes sometimes, like it's a crazy reminder that you're mine"
Riley blushed, raising a hand to caress the back of his neck.

"All yours" she murmured, so quietly it was barely audible. Then using the hand situated on his neck, she swiftly pulled him back down to her lips. They kissed passionately and James' teeth gently tugged on her lower lip, asking for entrance. Riley granted it, allowing his tongue to slip inside her mouth so it could dance with hers.

James' hands found their way to her hips, slipping under the fabric of his hoodie and sliding it up her body until it was under her chin. Reluctantly he pulled away from her lips just long enough to pull off the hoodie and throw it onto the floor.

In seconds he was attacking her lips again, allowing his hands to roam over her smooth skin and lacy white bralette. His touch left Riley's body tingling in its wake, making her crave him more.

She clawed a hand through his thick hair, occasionally taking fists of it and pulling it to get a reaction from James. Her other hand was pressed flat against his chest, feeling his abs through his clothing.

Suddenly, an obnoxious noise echoed from Riley's phone which was sitting on the kitchen counter. It vibrated aggressively, waiting for its owner to silence it.

Riley sighed, pushing James off of her. She swung her legs off the couch and walked over to her phone, glancing at the caller ID.

"Hey Em" she said, answering the phone.

James watched impatiently from the couch, wishing she would hurry up and end the phone call so she could return to him.

"No, no I'm not doing anything" Riley said, casting James an apologetic look. "Sure now's a good time, what's up?"

He groaned, burying his face in a pillow. This was going to take a while. Painfully aware that Riley had left the room, he reached for the TV remote.

At some point into the morning news (that James was certainly not paying attention to), he heard Riley's voice fade in the next room. He looked up, happy to see her returning without a phone pressed to her ear.

"Now Emily's the thief" he pouted, holding out his hand for her to come over.
Riley sat beside him, confused, "what?"
"She stole you away from me" he justified, running his hand up and down her bare arm.

Riley burst into a fit of giggles, looking at how serious he was being. "I hardly think-"
"She did" James interrupted, "but she's forgiven as long as you make it up to me"
This caused Riley to raise an eyebrow, "and how do you suppose I do that?"

He smirked, "I have some ideas"
