Night

The moon shone like a loving kin,
The night, irked by my charcoal skin,
The trees wink with a sultry smirk
The wind stopped by to stand and lurk.
Pearls around my lovely neck,
They're stars hung near the new moon's breast,
A beauty by the coal black sky,
Dark beauty by the coal black sky.
