Pearls

My eyes are filled to it's brim,
Tears threaten to fall down them,
My face is a tint of the beautiful sunset
That unfolds before me,
And the ever so beautiful pearls
Creep onto my cheeks.
They leave their arms wide open,
Caressing them with solace.
I was happy; truly.
I had been strong for too long,
Pretending was never fun.
People say I am a man,
That I shouldn't cry,
But who doesn't like a man,
Brave enough to flaunt his fright.
