4 years later...

"Aunty Diya?"
"yes?"
"Can you tell me the story of how you & my mom meet?"
"I told you that story like 5 times" I laughed
"It's my favorite story"

"It was in the 9th grade..I didn't have many friends since I was shy but that one day..."

"Hey" I looked up seeing a girl with long box braids staring down at me

"Hi" I said in a low voice

"How come you always eating lunch by yourself? She asked

"It's peaceful if you really think about it" I looked at the clouds

She sat down on the grass beside me and looked at the sky

"Huh I guess your right better than that loud ass musty lunch room" she joked

"Yeah" I laughed

"I'm Renee but you can call me Re" she stuck out her hand

"Diya" I was going to shake her hand but she pulled me into a sudden hug

"Sorry you just look so warm I'm not weird I promise" she chuckled

"Yea you are but that's ok I'm weird to" I joked

"I told you not to talk to my boyfriend" some girl was yelling at me

"He's my science partner Kayla it's a fucking science project" I rolled my eyes

"Nah you be flirting with him all the time" she started to get loud

"If you call learning about gravity the new way of flirting then I guess yeah" I said sarcastically

"Bitch-" she was finna hit me then Re showed up

"Hell nah you ain't finna hit my bestie" Re said standing in front of me

"Girl move before I beat you and your bestie ass"

Re threw one punch and immediately started fighting the girl Kayla. Re grabbed her hair and started to drag her up and down the hallways once Kayla friends saw that Re was wining they tried to jump her but I quickly jumped in pulling the first girl I saw off her and hitting her in her face. The security guards came and broke up the fight sending me and Re to the office.

"I wish you was ugly so we didn't have to get into fights all the time" Re said

"Don't hate me because I'm beautiful" I singed

We were both sitting in the office waiting for our Moms to pick us up. This was our 3rd fight this month all because girls swear I want they boyfriends when really it's vice versa.

"You really ugly as fuck fr fr" she joked
"And you bald-headed" I said back

"You right as fuck" we both laughed

Res mom showed up and just stared at the both of us

"Your moms working late today Diya so your coming over my house" Res mom said

"Yay!" We both shouted

"And when we get home yall cleaning my house from top to bottom no breaks"

"Awnnnn" we said at the same time.

"Ion give a fuck as long as ion got to clean the bathroom" re crossed her arms

"Girl-" he mom gave her a dealth glare

"sorry"

I laughed

"You dumb ass fuck" I laughed
"Oop- I'm sorry"

"Come on before I hurt y'all" we all began walking out the school

"Hey thank you back there for sticking up for me" I thanked re

"Girl no problem that's what best friends are for" she smiled

"Best friends?"
"Yes we in this together" she held out her pinky
"Forever"
I crossed her pinky with mines

"I hope one day I find a friend like that" he sighed
"Yea Your mother was one of a kind" I smiled
"Hey Aunty Diya"
"Yes"
"Can we best friends forever?"
"you sure I'm not really cool like those kids at school" I said
"OF COURSE YOU ARE YOUR THE COOLEST I KNOW WAYY BETTER THEN THEM KIDS AT SCHOOL" he yelled in excitement
"Chill okay I'll be your best friend"
"Forever?" He held his pinky out
I smiled and grabbed his pinky
"Forever"
He smiled
"Now can you tell me the story of how you and uncle mar got married?"
"I'll tell you later...Now let's go eat before the tickle monster gets you"
"Not the tickle monster" he ran away
I laughed chasing him
