╚═══*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═══╝It's been minutes since you stood there. Facing the grey damaged door; the very last obstacle between you and the dozens of doctors on this huge floating kingdom.
"It is a possibility that you could be pregnant."
You, (y/n) (l/n), the fourth child of the king and queen of the Aogu Kingdom. Born in war, once easily manipulated you stood up for yourself. Once delicate as a flower, it all shattered away from the instant you touched a gun for the first time. You never miss your shot. Those who don't believe you just have to go ask the skeletons. From that moment your parents lost control over you and it infuriated them, them who shall rule everything on their territory. You grew up as an independent, strong and stubborn woman who, out of discouragement was allowed to take care of the army training. The military. Once so weakened from all those years of war, you shaped it back to greatness with your very own hands. The princess who rejected the simple idea to get married, being rude to all princes coming your way. All until...Yonji Vinsmoke. When he showed himself you knew you couldn't fight your way out this time. It was Germa. Being stubborn didn't mean you were a blind ignorant idiot. You knew your place towards them. You sacrificed your ideals to assure the safety of your people. You did all that. That's who you are...So why couldn't you knock on that door? A door. A SIMPLE door.
"I need answers," you said to yourself, looking down as if your body would have changed from minutes ago. It didn't not, but this action had a meaning within it. You breath in and with a single fist proceeded to strongly knock a single time on the door. One strong bash.
The wait was infernal. You were getting ready to knock a second time when the door finally opened. On the other side was a young doctor. Petite and frail, she had the typical appearance of a loner. Dark long hair, tense shoulders, face completely hidden behind her huge glasses. She looked ready to run away for dear life and yet she spoke calmly and sounded confident. "Can I help you with anything (y/n)-sama?" You looked at the main room to their service and did not see anyone else there. She was most likely the only one in there when you knocked. "Do you have access to any private office at the moment? I'd prefer we speak in private, hum..."
"Su " she muttered as she looked around the main hall of the medicinal service. "None of my coworkers is using the office of my section," she said as she walked through the , massive and dark hall to reach a door. Why everything in this castle is so grey? "You can come, " she addressed you as she put her hand on the handle.
Both of you installed yourselves in the - not surprisingly cold grey bricked office - her behind the working table and you on a beige leather chair. She sunk in her seat as she grabbed her pen and paper in a nimble demeanour. "I must say it's quite the surprise to see you here, (y/n)-sama."
You frowned, dubious about the meaning of her comment. "Excuse me?"
"Well it's been a year since you married Yonji-sama and you never consult for anything so..." For the second time of the day you were in lack of words. "A...what?"
"A year."
It hit you like a ton of bricks. A year, a whole year had passed by. How come I didn't notice? Was I so busy working on myself that...I just wasn't attentive? You looked down at your hand, at your ring. With time it became automatic to remove it at night, first thing, put it back on in the morning, first thing. The first impression you had of him was everything but bewitching. Didn't change much but at least he wasn't drooling each time he was seeing you anymore. You didn't give him the luxury to react much to his lecherous behaviour, actually getting away as fast as you could not to say run. Therefore he didn't have much of a choice even if...with sharing a bathroom. He really was a pervert, nothing could be done about that.
