Chapter 4 : The Nest of the Paragon

"Ha! UNO!" says Inferno, aka Toya as he placed his last but one card on the stack of UNO cards. The Paragon's Nest's top floor was from where the main team of Paragon Hero Agency operated. Except for Izuku and Melissa, the team consisted of Tenko Shimura, Toya Todoroki, Himiko Toga, Shuichi Iguchi, Atsuhiro Sako and Shizuka Todoroki. All of the mentioned heroes were used to be villians back in Japan.

Tenko Shimura, also known as Tomura Shigaraki, but now called as 'Disintegrating Hero: Solute' was in fact 7th One For All user, a voice which haunts Izuku, Nana Shimura's grandson. He was abused by his father for having a dream to be a hero and when his quirk activated he ended up killing his entire family, or that was what he thought. In fact, his sister, Hana Shimura managed to escape with few minor injuries. All For One, One For All's true nemesis, took advantage of his weakened and broken mental state, and planted a new personality in him, which deliberately called itself Shigaraki. But five years ago, during Paranormal Liberation Front War, he and All For One was defeated by 10th OFA user, Mirio Togata. The death of AFO got rid of his personality but he ended up getting jailed in Tartarus.  

Toya Todoroki and Himiko Toga have a completely different story. While Himiko's parents treated her poorly, she never had intentions to be a hero. Her main goal was to live a normal life. In fact, she was a quiet girl most of her life. But that was impossible because of the impossible and lustful cravings she had towards human blood. Her parents tried to suppress her cravings instead of countering them, and thus resulted her attacking and drinking blood of her classmate. Toga always hated her quirk, and that incident lead to her family apologizing publicly through media, but not before cutting ties with her and called her a 'creepy demon child'. This lead to her depression, and AFO like always used his personality-placing quirk, gave her infamous yandere personality. Same thing happened to her after AFO's death. Toya didn't want anything but recognition of his father. He, unlike Himiko, had a good relationship with his father, Enji Todoroki or 'Flame Hero: Endeavour'. But everything changed after his younger brother, Shoto or 'Hell-Frost Hero: Redeemer' manifested his quirk. He was cast aside like a discarded tool and he couldn't cope up with it. One thing led to another, and he ended up like Himiko, with a personality change and in Tartarus at end. His burned skin was reverted back to its original state by a six year old girl's quirk.

Shizuka Todoroki, previously known as Shizuka Yuuki before her marriage, was a prominent soldier in Meta Liberation Army, whose main objective was rights for quirk usage. She went by the name 'Geten' and her reasons for joining the army were simple. Her parents got caught in between a Hero and a villain's battle which ended up costing their life. She strongly believes that if they were allowed to use their quirks, they would have stayed alive. Not that the government forbid them from using it for self-defense, which was highly encouraged, but without any practice, her parents couldn't use their quirk effectively. She knows that very well because her quirk was initially very weak. But with Re-Destro's encouragement and constant practice, she was able to bring it to new height, such that even her husband was finding difficult to fight her. Then one day, League of Villians attacked Deika city, which caused an all-out war, against the Meta Liberation Army, the very war where she crossed her husband's path. Later that day, Re-Destro was defeated and Tenko, in his Shigaraki persona took over the remains of the army, promptly naming it 'Paranormal Liberation Front'. They built their forces over five years and one day, suddenly heroes attack their hideout. She was ended up defeated and captured by Cementoss, a hero affiliated to UA.  Now, she lived her life as 'Blizzard Heroine: Khione' in Los Angeles, and is a part of Team Paragon, where her main job or area of expertise is rescue and assault.

Shuichi Iguchi and Atsuhiro Sako don't have much to say. Shuichi was mistreated by the society for his appearance of that of a lizard. One day, he got inspired by Stain's ideologies just like Toya and Himiko's planted personalities and took the mask of 'Spinner'. Atsuhiro was actually great-great-grandson of Oji Harima, also known as 'Peerless Thief'. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of his great-great-grandfather, stealing from heroes and distributing to the people who deserved it. He took the moniker of 'Mr. Compress', which heavily reflected his quirk. Both of them came to the end of the line; exactly like every other member of LoV.
