Callie said standing at the doorway of my hospital room, I looked towards the door,
'she's doing alright',
Mark, my brother said closing the magazine he was reading and standing up out of the seat he was sitting in, I smiled slightly,
'you know I am awake right',
I said my voice slightly shaking and hurting from the tube that was in there from surgery. Callie walked in and shook her head, both Callie and Mark stood by my bed but on opposite sides,
'yes but the reason you had to have surgery was because you kept denying your pain or that there was any issue at all',
Callie said to me, I awkwardly smiled at her,
'and you have to live with that stubbornness for the rest of your life'.
