I grabbed my skateboard, shoving my white iPhone in my jeans pocket and opening the window. Hopping out, I land on the grass below. Not forgetting to close the window behind me, but leaving a little open, I jump over the fence, landing on the sidewalk below. I drop my board and hop on, making my way to the skate park. My long wavy brown hair flows behind me, as I take a sharp turn onto the next street. As I reach the park, a group of guys turn their heads in my direction, smirks emerging from their faces.
"Sup Katia?" Jake says, nodding his head up. Jake has to be one of the most self-centred guys I know, and that's saying something.
I simply ignore him and skate to the top of the ramp, getting a full view of the park. Just as I push off, I see three unfamiliar boys with their boards to my left. I look over my shoulder to catch a more clear glance of them. The shortest one looks my way, drops his board, and starts running towards me.
I suddenly slammed forward and hit my head really, really hard.
Everything went black.
