The miles that stretch before us,
The odds that come between us,
The words that grow old,
The days that freeze in the cold,
The mistakes that shatter our trust,
The heart you can't fully entrust. You want this to continue,
You don't listen when I talk to you,
You can't even compromise,
You won't look at me in the eyes,
You can't see deep in my heart,
You can't see I'm falling apart.I want us to continue,
I want us to pass these through,
I don't lie to you,
I will never do,
I believe in you,
I hope you trust me, too.We are hurt and scarred,
We are in this, rough and hard, but
We can't just pull the red card,
We're one in this boulevard,
We'll walk each mile with entwined hearts,
We'll never again be apart. You're nowhere near, and
I am here, but
We share love that won't disappear. You have to love me with no doubt,
I can't have forever without you,
We will work this out.
