i saw her working at her usual place. she was cleaning the tables again. she worked so hard. she didn't get enough respect. i walked to her and grabbed her hand. she turned around and gave me the usual smile and hug. this time, i wanted more.
i handed her the note and watched as she read it. she shoved it in her purse and just smiled. " luke, i love you. you are the best friend anyone could ask for." i sighed. how come she didn't notice that i loved her.
"tylina?" she nodded. " can i have a kiss?" time felt as if it froze. then she nodded and we kissed. it felt as a million years went by. her lips were soft, and they moved in sync with mine. when i closed my eyes, i saw galaxies and the planets. i imagined my life with her. i knew she was the one.
she always was the one.
