Chapter 1 : Start

Ayanokōji POV

I was waiting for the bus to come and a little bit worried that I might be late for school on the first day.

'How embarrassing' I murmured

If you're wondering what's the name of the school I'm going to attend is, well it's not really popular but the name is Advance Nurturing High School. The school is famous for its almost 100% employment rate. Almost all teenager in Japan come to this school. Told you its not popular.

While I was spacing out the bus was already in front of me. The driver asked me if I were getting in or not. It's pretty obvious, right?

I got inside the bus and was looking for an empty seat. Luckily I found one, I thought I was lucky but... The girl next to me shot me a cold glare.

'What's the problem with sitting next to her?' I thought

The bus started moving. I was going to take a little nap, but the bus suddenly stop. My head was going to hit the seat in front of me, good thing I was able to stop myself. I then look at front to see why the bus stop. An elderly woman stepped in, sadly there were no more empty seat. Then a woman at her 30's spoke.

"Sir, can you please give your seat to his elderly woman?' She asked the boy with blonde hair.

"My my, what an unreasonable request" The boy said to the woman

"Ha? How is it unreasonable?" The woman asked.

"Why should I give up my seat? It's not my fault that the bus was already full when she got in" The boy answered

The woman forcing the boy to give up his seat gave up. I thought it was over but a new challenger came up. A teenage girl that was wearing a uniform from my school.

"Sir, if you gave up your seat you can contribute to society" The girl said

"So another challenger huh. Let me ask you this, how is giving up my seat contributing to society? Why are you only asking me? There are other people here that you can ask." The boy said while combing his hair.

If I have to agree with someone, I choose to agree with the blonde boy. Why? Well let me ask you first, what is the difference between priority seats and normal seats? It's hard to answer right? For me, there is no difference between the two. I mean it's just seats. And then the girl started talking again.

"But-" the girl finally gave up or so I thought

"Can anyone here give their seat to this poor elderly woman?" she asked

"Wow, how bold" I thought to myself

I looked around if someone was willing to give their seat, but it looks like no one is interested. I then glanced at the girl next to me, unexpectedly our gazes meet. As I was going to talk to my 'seatmate', A woman suddenly gave in.

"Here" the woman shouted

"Thank you ma'am" the girls said

"Thank you kind miss" the elderly woman thanked the woman

Finally I can sleep in peace. As I was about to close my eyes, the bus suddenly stopped again.

"What's with this timing? I murmured

Even if it was for a short time I saw the girl next to me trying to hold her laughter. Really? what's with this girl?. I noticed that we already arrived at the school. I got up from my seat and was going to go out the bus. The bus already left, I was going to take my first step towards a normal school life but.

"Wait"

A voice called out to me. It was the girl sitting next to me in the bus.

"You were looking at me in the bus, why?" she asked

" Oh that, I just thought that just like me, you wanted to stay out of trouble that's why you didn't gave up your seat" I answered

"Stay out of trouble? Don't compare me to you and those people. I didn't gave up my seat because there's no reason to."

"Isn't that worst than staying out of trouble" I murmured

"Whatever, I don't want to be classmates with someone like you. I hope we never meet again" she harshly said

You were the one who called out to me though.

"The feelings mutual" I answered

Well that was unexpected. My first day couldn't become worse.

The Nakano's POV

Father told us that we were going to a prestigious school with an employment rate of almost 100%. We were shocked by this. Our grades were lower than average, why a school like this?

"Girls, come down you're going to be late for your first day" Father shouted

"But we don't want to go to school, Papa" Nino answered

"Yeah father, why do we have to go to school?" Ichika asked

"You already know the answer that" Father answered

"Fine" all five said in unison

"But don't expect something from us, father" Miku said to her father

"Yes, I know. That's why I ask the school to find someone to tutor and look after you" Father said to us

"Tutor? Look after?" They all asked

"Yes" father said

"Why do we need someone to look after us? We can just go home right?" Nino argued to her father

"Just trust me. And to answer your last question. No you will not be going home." Father assured us

"What do you mean father?" Itsuki asked in confusion

"You five will stay there for 3 years. You will have to stay in dorms"

"Dorms? Does that mean we have to live separately?" Yotsuba asked

"Yes, now hurry or you'll be late"

We took a shower and eat breakfast. The bus already left so we have to use our car and have Ebata-san drive us to the school. We finally arrived at school. We were the only one who arrived by car, all of them took the bus.

"So this is going to be our school" Ichika

"I hope this is not as boring as our previous school" Nino

"Let's just wait and see" Miku

"Yeah, I hope I can be friends with everyone" Yotsuba

"I hope the food here is delicious" Itsuki

The Quintuplets took their first step in their new school life.
