"Y/n....I want to tell you something."

You watched as the man sat on the opposite chair that was distanced with the table in between the two of you. He let the drinks be placed onto the table making sure to let yours be in your sight.

You had asked for a water this time, knowing that you are to be weighed and assessed by the end of next week to accomplish the training aspect and to be encountered as 'professional'. You wanted to be your fittest to ensure your place was secure.

You looked up at the man who seemed a bit stiff but your eyes quickly gave a smile to the elderly lady in the background.

You felt nervous yet super excited about the end of your training element. There was a party that was held for all of the trainees and their coaches even with some already qualified agents. But that was on your last day.

You heard the man's throat make a few noises shifting your attention over to him.

"What did you want to tell me?" You asked, your hand gripping the clear cup so you could take a sip of the cool liquid.

"Well... you see."

The man sighs, his hand messaging the sides of his temples in able to relief some of the tension.

"I just don't think I'm going to attend next week."

You placed the cup down a bit hastily causing some small drops of water to be spilled onto the table.

"Why would you say that sir? Me and Jimin are looking forward to this moment and to spend it with you. You have to come."

Your boss hesitated to tell you the real reason he didn't want to go.

He just felt like seeing you all dressed up with Jimin and being all affectionate with eachother would hurt him a bit. The 'date' the two of you went on still played in his mind.

Anyways... it's not like he would get much time to spend with you. He would have to be around all the other coaches and pretend to be invested in whatever they were saying.

"I have important work to complete. You know......making sure the files for you and my other trainees are all sorted out."

You huffed at this, raising your eyebrows as his lips that were shut tightly together.

"You're always working sir. Why not take a break? Besides, everyone else will be there."

"we'll see."

You let a small smile reach your lips receiving the same expression back. The man in front of you tugged his head to the back gesturing if you wanted to make your way home. You nodded to this and let your mouth be full with the water before standing up and throwing the cup into the bin.

"Oh, one second."

You quickly let your legs scurry to the lady behind the till.

The lady jumped at your taller figure hugging her from the back. Her hands gently held yours to remove it so she could turn around to be facing you.

"Y/n Gosh! You nearly gave my old heart an attack." 

You were going to apologise but stopped when the lady let herself give a little kiss to your cheek using her tiptoes.

The man at the door smiled lightly at the scene in front of him. Your happiness radiating off to him and the softness in your eyes making his heart melt.

The women always seemed so loving when talking to you. The man realised this since the incident he had with you and the hot chocolate. He still thought about how embarrassing he felt in the middle of the night causing him to curse at how stupid he can be. But this was the exact moment that let the both of you to have your first real encounter.
