Time flies so fast when you are happy and enjoying the things that have been happening to you, yet if you were unhappy, time feels so slow, and it seems the world has been torturing you.

But not in my case. Since the day I finally chose to let go of the painful memories I had in the past years, I have always been happy. When I choose to be happy for myself and not worry about it anymore and choose to follow the beating of my heart.

Happiness can be easily taken away if you choose to torture yourself and worry about the things that aren't worthy. Happiness fades quickly when you're relying on your satisfaction to others. Happiness lies within us and not with others.

Lihim akong natawa sa gitna ng klase kung gaano ako kasaya nitong nakaraang buwan. Kung gaano ako ka sigurado na tunay na kasiyahan ang aking nararamdaman. I have never been this sure and today I realized that, I found my own happiness.

"Isang buwan ka na nililigawan ni Kyzyr, diba?" Renaissa spoke in the middle of our class.

Tumango ako bilang tugon sa kaniya dahil nakikinig ako sa lecture ng professor namin sa harapan. Hindi talaga matatapos ang klase ng hindi ako iniistorbo ng kaibigan sa gitna ng pakikinig.

Reeve is an irregular student kaya may mga panahon na hindi kami mag ka-klase sa isang subject. But in some major classes, we're classmates. Kaya ganito na lamang ka vocal si Renaissa sa tanong niya dahil hindi namin ka-klase si Reeve.

"Kailan mo siya balak sagutin?" she whispered and leaned on my shoulders. The prof was busy facilitating his powerpoint slides, so I quickly stole a glance at her and pushed her head off on my shoulders.

"Hindi ka talaga napipirmi sa isang discussion ng hindi ka nagsasalita no?" I narrowed my eyes on her and whispered secretly.

"I'm bored, bet ko ang subject pero di ko bet ang professor," she told me and tamad na umupo sa kaniyang upuan.

"Edi makinig ka lang d'yan pag tayo talaga napagalitan, sinasabi ko sa'yo Renaissa," pagbabanta ko pero ang gaga nginisian lang ako.

"Hindi naman niya tayo makikita kasi hindi naman apat ang mata n'yan 'di kagaya sa isang prof natin na kahit isang kilometro siguro ang layo natin ay makikita at makikita pa rin tayo," she said and laughed at her own statement.

"Ikaw lang naman palaging target no'n nadadamay lang ako kasi katabi kita," sabi ko sa kaniya at nginitian ng pagkasarkisto.

"S'yempre, we're bestfriends so kung papagalitan ako dapat damay ka rin," sabay tawa niya ngunit hindi niya ata napigilan at naging medyo malakas ito.

Napatingin ang ibang mga ka-klase namin sa amin dahil sa tawa ni Renaissa. I looked in front of us to see if our prof noticed us and heaved a sigh when he was still busy on his slides and his discussion.

Tinignan ko nang masama si Renaissa na ngayon ay nanlalaki ang mga mata sabay takip ng kaniyang bibig dahil sa biglaang paglakas ng tawa niya.

"Kaya tayo napapagalitan minsan eh, kasi ang daldal mo." At kinurot ang kaniyang tagiliran.

"Ito na tatahimik na, sagutin mo lang 'yong tanong ko kanina." She stretched her legs and sat back properly. Then she faced me with those attentive eyes waiting for me to answer her question earlier.

"Bakit gusto mong malaman. Gusto mo na magka-love life no?" pang-aasar ko sa kaniya.

"Duh... I don't need love life, eww," for an instant, she rolled her eyes on me and acted like she was disgusted.
