Third Person's POV

Tiana rushed into her apartment, dropped her stuff at the door, and went straight into the bathroom for the shower. She took a quick shower and then went into her room to get dressed, however she didn't really know what to wear. Why don't I have any lounge clothes." She growls in frustration, moving clothes around her walk in closet in a somewhat frantic state. "This what happens when you sleep in your damn panties all the time Tiana."

She stopped buying loung clothes months after getting back with Jason cause he kept ripping them like a damn neanthadral when they would start having sex. "I'm gonna make him buy some new one." She grumbles, finally picking out a nice, pink, two piece set. She was just finishing getting dressed when there was a knock on her door.

"Who is it?" She calls our, slipping on her fenty slides that Jason bought her a while back.

"It's me." She hears Jason's voice through the otherside of the door.

She quickly walks to the door and opens it, to reveal Jason leaning up against her door frame. "Hey." She greets him with an awkward tone, though she was still smiling at him.

"Hey." He greets back, standing in the door frame, unsure of what to do with himself.

They both seemed a little wary of the other as Tiana politely let him in. telling him he could take a seat on the couch. He took a seat on the one end of her couch and sat with his hands in his lap.

"Do you want something to drink, or are you hungry?" She offers him as she closes the door and locks it back. "I can heat up some leftovers for you."

"No thanks," He politely declines.

'She's being so nice.' Jason thinks to himself. 'Maybe she really doesn't want to break up after all.'

"Okay then," She says, sitting down on the other side of the couch, with her hands underneath her.

"So..." he starts off, nervously raking his hand through his hair. "How have you been?"

"I've been good." Tiana answers tensely. "How about you ?"

"I've been doing okay." He replies, with just as much tension in his tone.

"Aiden told me about the new place." She tries to force some small talk. "How do you like it?"

"Oh um, it's cool." He shrugs as he gives an answer that contradicts his true feelings. He truly hates his condo, but he couldn't stand staying in that big house by himself.  "This place is pretty nice though."

"Yeah." Tiana gives a soft smile. "It's home for now."

Jason took a moment to observe her for a moment. She was being polite, but he could tell that she was tense, and even slightly uncomfortable. Her legs were tucked underneath her, and she held a pillow in her arms that she kept squeezing close to her. Overall, she looked unhappy, and scared. He couldn't take it anymore.

"Fuck this." He stood from his seat, and walked to her side of the couch before falling to his knees, wrapping his arms around waist, looking straight into her eyes. "Let's just stop beating around the bush and say what we actually need to say."

"Okay." Tiana gulps, a bit taken aback at his small outburst, "you go first."

Jason took a deep breath, taking a moment to think before he opens his mouth. "I'm... I'm so sorry Tia." He moves his hands from her waist to her hands, his big hands wrapped around her delicate fingers as he begins to pour his heart out to her. "I was being an abusive, manipulative, and insecure asshole, and you didn't deserve that. I took what I had for granted and I didn't give you the one thing you've always asked of and that's to treat you right. I hurt you in so many ways, and so many times that I know you can't just forgive and forget, and I'm not asking you to.
