reputation | a taylor swift fanfiction ✓

first of all thank you taylor swift stans for almost 12k on this.. i have no idea how that even happened considering that i think this is such an awful fic

but anyway i've been on hiatus for months and i decided it's time for me to just leave wattpad for good instead of taking long indefinite hiatuses

i moved on from bts (which were the main subjects of my fics on here) and i dont consider myself a full swiftie anymore and this all contributed to my long break and my lack of motivation to write

i also don't like writing on wattpad because there's the pressure to make nice graphics which i never liked to do, and because this app is structured way too much like a normal social media platform which takes away the main point of it?? it's just my opinion and i think a lot of people (including me) got wrapped up in the numbers and followers and views etc. the structure of this app also gave way to a bunch of other problems i won't name here

also my old works are still published on here and i wrote those in middle school/early high school and i wouldn't like potential new followers/viewers to read those because... yeah

furthermore, there are like .. a shit ton of children/young teens on here and given that i'm almost an adult, i'm not about to talk to a 13 y/o for both my and their benefit

the last reason i feel like i need to stop being active on this platform is because the fandom(s) i'm in on twitter normally use ao3 to read/write fics, and not wattpad. personally i've grown to prefer ao3 maybe because ao3 is heavily connected to fanfic twitter

now .. to anyone who i've ever talked to on here, thanks for being so #Cool and #Swag and thank you for helping me start writing and giving me support, i don't think i would've ever learned i liked to write things if it weren't for you all. it was fun here but i think it's time for me to stop going on indefinite hiatuses and instead just leave for good

i'm rambling uhhh i'm way more active on twitter now but i dont really talk about bts or taylor swift on there. i'm also active on ao3 now and i'll be writing some things again, and hopefully they'll be things i actually want to write
