Y/n's POV

It's been two years of hell in the cadet corps but I managed to make it this far so I can't give up now

We're currently running through a forest within the walls (Wall maria hasn't been recovered yet) for a training exercise while carrying a lot of weight on our back in the form of heavy as shit backpacks all while raining and Shadis yelling at us on a horse

Shadis: "Pick up the pace you lead-heeled laggards !"

Then he spots Armin slowing down

Shadis: "Your boots water-logged Arlert ?, Come on let's see some hustle !"

Armin starts falling behind the rest of the cadets

Shadis: "Gear too heavy for you son ?, Just drop it for all I care leave it in the mud the titans will have easier work digesting you without all the excess baggage !"

Then Shadis speeds of ahead leaving Armin even more behind

Armin: "Dammit !"

I slow down a tad bit then grab armin's bag and hold it for him

Y/n: "Come on Armin just try and catch up to the others for now I'll hold your bag !"

Armin: "But y/n won't you get in trouble for helping me we are being graded on this y'know !"

Y/n: "Well we are best friends so why not help a friend in need I'll keep your bag for know just graduated he cadets and thank me later alright?!?" I said putting on a fake smile

Y/n: God these bags are heavy as all hell !

Little did we know Shadis was watching

Shadis: Y/n Jeager a kind soul not that strong but his speed isn't that great either he's a balanced individual but when his pissed you know it hell when he's pissed everyone stays away from him since he almost attacked another cadet a little like mikasa ackermann, He cares for his allies that might get him killed one day

Armin: "Y/n please don't underestimate me !"

Then he grabs his bag from my shoulder and speeds of towards the group

Y/n: "Hey where was that speed a moment ago, Armin wait up !"

Shadis: Armin Arlert built like a daffodil but academically brilliant !

Shadis' POV

Today we're doing ODM Gear training in the forest from yesterday but mainly to improve the cadets skills and for me to take notes on their performance

Annie Leonhart gifted with a sword but doesn't really play well with others she doesn't like

Bertholdt Hoover heaps of native talent but too mild-mannered

Jean Kirschtein head of the class on ODM, Also an insufferable smartass with a hair-trigger temper

Sasha Braus unusually fine instincts rarely shared them with her teammates

Connie Springer agile on the switchbacks a few sandwiches shy of a picnic

Mikasa Ackermann model cadet excels in everything in fact it's no overstatement to call the girl a genius

Eren Jeager lackluster in the classroom barley better in the field but driven by a sense of purpose that's almost terrifying unlike his brother (you) he's hardheaded always looking for a fight
