i gave you everything i had,
and even more.
but it seems it didn't satisfy you.
wasn't i beautiful enough?
i swear i tried,
but i couldn't.
they were always one step ahead of me.
wasn't i enough?
i fought every fight for you.
i catched every bullet for you.
i swam through the murkiest waters for you.
i endured all for you.
i did the impossible just for you.
even though you did nothing for me.
wasn't i smart enough?
to realize that your lips weren't only kissed by mines.
to realize that your heart wasn't only mine.
to realize how foolish i was.
wasn't i enough for you?
i was.
but,
were you enough for me?
