since you left
life has lost its color
flowers don't smell the same
your side of the bed is empty
and my soul is lost
but in a small corner
is your photo framed
and when i see you
life regains its color
flowers their scent
your side of the bed doesn't feel so empty
and my soul isn't so lost
because i know you're by my side
and even though we can't be together
on earth
i long for the day we'll be together
in heaven
