Does it take one person to stop the pain that I felt in my chest.
No and yes.
No, because the person who is supposed to take the pain away was probably hundreds of miles away.
After they told him that his father was given a second job Minnesota, they packed their bags and left. They took him.
My boyfriend.....he left me here to fend for myself.....with kid in my womb. He knew that I was pregnant but his parents didn't and neither did mine. We were planning to tell them in a couple of weeks because his father had such a tight schedule that he couldn't squeeze us in for a family meeting.
Yet the only way I found out that he was leaving was by a text when he was about to board the plane. I looked down in my bed where my phone was laying, I picked it up and re-read the text, "Babe, I'm sorry I tried I really did but even after I told them my situation.....they just told me to leave you. I love you so much, I will come back as soon as I can, I promise."
I trusted him for
Days
Months
Years .
Until it became too much and just forgot about him, knowing that he wasn't going to come back I took care of my little boy by myself.
But yet after many years I would see dark short hair and I would think it was him, coming back to fulfill his promise.
But yet he didn't......
