Hello. My name is Elisa Bettward and I am 17 years old. I currently live in London, but that is going to change very soon. I am now packing my stuff to move all the way to America and yes, I know, it sounds like a lot of fun, but it actually isn't. I have to leave my friends and family here. I even have to leave my rabbit, Bliss, here.
When I told my best friend, Mirry, I was going to move to the United States, she started crying. I tried to cheer her up by telling her we could skype as much as possible, but that didn't really help.In one hour all my family, friends, neighbours and other people would be here to say goodbye. And it really would be a goodbye since my father wasn't planning on coming back to London. I have no idea why not, and I actually don't even want to know.
Thinking about this made me cry. I didn't want to leave, at least, not yet. But I guess I have to, and I'm happy I'm not alone. I am moving together with my father, Jack, my mother, Mary, and my brother, Dave. I know we all have basic names, and that's not my fault. Dave actually needs to leave his girlfriend behind, and I don't want to know what kind of goodbye he is giving here..
We were going to move to Mystic Falls. That town is as small as it can get. (compared to London at least) We are going to live in a flat that's located five minutes from my school. Yay, a new school. Only the thought of that makes me want to puke. I actually am very unsocial, so I was glad I met Mirry two years ago. But now all of that friendship will be gone. I know, I'm not very optimistic, but how could you be optimistic when you are moving away from everything you have.
And then I was snapped out of my thoughts by the bell ringing. I didn't notice it was already 3PM, and my cheeks were all wet. I quickly put on some makeup on my face and said to myself in the mirror that it was going to be fine.. Fine, yea right. Then I went downstairs and put on a fake smile on my face. *sighs* "Here we go" I mumbled.Name: Elisa Bettward, also known as Lisa
Age: 17 years old
Hobbies: Writing, drawing, reading, watching movies and sleeping, if that counts as a hobby.
Looks: She has blue-greenish eyes and curly brown hair. She usually has her hair in a ponytail or a bun. She wears casual/basic clothes, so she won't have too much attention. She has an average length and is a bit curvy, but not 'fat'.-----TIME SKIP TO LEAVING THE UNITED KINGDOM/LONDON-----
So here I am, sitting in the car to the airport. My parents didn't want anyone to come with us to the airport since the flight left at 5AM. That's also why they threw the 'goodbye' party last night, so people wouldn't feel bad. It was currently 3:30 and we were nearly at the airport. On my way I was listening to some music, which I don't even remember anymore. The only thing I could think about was moving to the USA. God, this was either going to be the best thing ever or the worst. Probably the last. Anyways, once we arrived at the airport we got our tickets and gave our luggage to the lady behind the desk. All our other stuff was already in our new house, except for some things we really needed in those last few days. Then we walked to our gate and, to our surprise, the gate was already open. So we decided not to wait and get into the plane. Once we flew in the air I fell asleep. It wasn't very comfortable, but I was asleep.
I got woken up by someone shaking my shoulder. "Lisa, we are in America and the plane is almost landing." My father. "Grrmmmh.. I am too tired!" As you have noticed I really do need my sleep, and since I couldn't sleep st home, I was glad I got to sleep in the airplane. "Elisa, I'm serious, we are almost landing" And when he finished saying that I heard the flight attendant saying we had to fasten our seatbelt and put our seats straight. Ofcourse my father was right, he almost always was. "Fiiiiine, I'm up, I'm up!" When I felt like the plane was going to land, I looked outside. It actually wasn't pretty like my mother said. "Mom, where is all the pretty landscapes you promised me?" I said, a bit too loudly, which caused some people to look at me.. Oops. "Don't worry honey, we are only at the industrial part right now. Once we are in Mystic Falls you'll love it." Whatever you say mom, whatever you say..
After an hour with landing in America, getting our luggage and going to the passport controle we finally were outside to wait for the cabdriver. It was actually not that hot here, like I thought it would be. Then I got snapped out of my thoughts once again by some people screaming. I really do hope Mystic Falls is better than this airport.
I really do..
