freds POV

i gave up on trying to find Davie a long time ago instead i spent more time with my family and to be honest it was great even if my mum kept going on and on about my leg and if i was feeling fine which it was you see in the war a wall collapsed on me it wasn't as severe as we thought it was but it still messed up my leg enough for me to barely walk on it i have crutches for the leg but they are just annoying i have to have everyone help me with anything and i hate it.

my leg got better after 4 months i still need to use the crutch a lot but i could walk for ten minutes without hurting my leg. it was now 8 months from the last time saw Davie and it bothered me it isn't because i have feelings for her but i wanted to speak about what happened and what would happen if we saw each other again me and Davie weren't best friends but we would speak almost everyday in Hogwarts so i didnt want it to be weird i wanted that friendship to stay but i knew even if i wanted it i may never see her at this rate 

6 months after the war i was walking more that 10 mins but my leg would still be in pain sometimes so i STILL need those damn crutches i hated them but i knew they helped so i used them when i am in my flat or the burrow or in the shop but when i am going outside i just walk because i dont want pity from people i had enough of that from my family never mind strangers i was walking down to meet lea at the coffee shop when a saw this person they looked familiar but i didnt know who they were they were walking down the street with a stroller they had a baby?? and then met up with someone who looked a lot like Davies mum wait... that was Davies mum! so that meant that was Davies! she changed she was still skinny but she was more curvy and 'bigger' in those areas and she had a...... she had a kid!?!? how did i not know this is wouldnt of had sex with her is i knew she had a kid!!! wait who is its?? once she gave her baby to her mother and turned to leave she caught sight of me and thought to try and leave unnoticed but i walked up to her she stopped 

''hi'' i said 

''h-hi'' she said nervously 

''Davie can we talk alone'' i asked she nodded we went to my flat i got my crutches and she made the coffee thinking i might struggle which is true with having big metal bars on each side to you but still 

''soo'' i said as she placed the cups on the table i sighed wanting to get to point ''when were you going to tell me you had a kid?'' i asked she stood there shocked ''if-if-if you had a kid i wouldnt of you know??'' i said again

''fred really i didnt tell you because i didnt know and i wasnt pregnant then'' she said 

''if you werent pregnant then the baby must only be one week old'' i said ''whos is it D i want to know because you my friend''

''fred i didnt sleep with anyone else in the past ten months'' she explained very quietly i was shocked 

''t-the baby is mine??'' i said she nodded
