Fred POV 

i walked away once i said goodbye to davie i walked down to the shop and heard george say something and then i saw lee walk out and he gasped 

''george its not a customer!'' he said shouting down the office 

''whats with the--'' he saw me ''oh hey back so ear-'' he saw the baby with me and gasped as well ''i thought you were kidding'' he said i rolled my eyes

''of course you did twat'' i said 

''so this is ronnie'' he said 

''ronnie?'' i asked 

''i thought veronica was too long'' he said 

''ok you lazy shit'' i said 

''can i hold her'' he asked 

''well you are the godfather so...'' i said 

''wait!?!? im the godfather!?'' he practically shouted 

''yes'' i said 

he started jumping up and down shouting ''im the godfather'' ronnie just giggled then he stopped 

''wait'' he said ''how old is she'' he asked 

''only a bit over a month'' i said 

''is that the first time she laughed?'' he asked 

''no she laughed like 15 minutes ago why'' i asked 

''just wondering it is my duty as a godfather to know these things to you know'' he said a matter of factly 

''yeah and im the father you point'' i stated he tilted his head like he was thinking then nodded 

''can i hold her?'' he asked 

''yes you can'' i said handed her to him

''how did this happen'' he asked and i thought of the best joke

''well it starts off with a man and a woman they lo-'' i rushed out and he cut me off 

''i know that dumb-'' he stopped himself realising he would be dead if davie heard him ''i just meant how did you make something that looks so perfect'' he said 

''well thats why she has you as an uncle'' i said laughed he tried to kick me and nearly loss his balance 

''yeah you might want to take this away'' he said referring to the baby as she started to cry

''yeah my point exactly'' i said started to shush her and rock her back to sleep 

''are you taking her to mum tonight??'' lee asked me and george scoffed 

''are you kidding me do you want that baby suffocated!?!?'' george exclaimed lee laughed 

''thats funny i said the exact same thing but no i am not taking her i want to spend more time with her before they meet the family who will hog her 24/7'' i said they nodded and i got hit by george 

''wh- hey whats that for?'' i asked 

''how are you going to be at the shop if you are going to be here with ronnie?'' he asked 

''me and davie already sorted that'' i said looking at ronnie wow that name is getting around fast 

''how?'' lee asked 

''i said i wanted to be there for both of them but i couldnt because george wouldnt swap and i could only be there for her if she moved with me'' i said 

''wow thats very straight forward'' lee said 

''well i did say it nicer and softer but you guys always want to get to the point'' i said and they nodded 

''so what did she say'' george asked 

''she said a lot of things including a yes'' i said 

''what are you going to do about the baby?'' lee asked

''take her back to the rightful owner'' i said jokingly he looked at me like i said it for real ''it was a joke its my baby''

''ohh ok but if you dont mind me asking how the mother??'' lee asked i know lee doesnt know davie that well he normally stayed with george and me davie

''remember that girl i use to hang out with davita forsythe??'' i said 

''yeah'' he said confused 

i just looked at him like he was dumb then it clicked

''ohh her'' he said ''you knocked her up!!'' he shouted the whole shop looked at him ''carry on'' he said 

''yes i did'' i said ''but dont tell anyone especially tonight at dinner'' they nodded and we left it there i gave ronnie back told davie all about what happened but left out george nearly falling
