Freds POV 

i picked up the phone and heard her frantically say something 

''hey calm down and tell me whats wrong'' i said 

''i need to get out of town'' she said 

''what why''  i asked 

''something happened to jughead'' she said i could tell she was crying 

''what happened'' i asked 

''i dont know all betty said is that hes barley alive and not too well'' she said 

''well whats ronnie going to do'' i asked 

''i dont know if you want to take her or i can thats why i called you before disappearing'' she said frantically

''wait right there i will be there in a minute'' i said walking back down to my mother davie said ok and hung up ''hi mum i need to go'' i said quickly 

''why is everything ok??'' she asked worried 

''umm- yeah- no - i dont know yet i just need to go like now'' i said george nodded saying he would cover for me 

''wait why do you need to go'' my mum was asking 

''mum we can talk when i get back but i need to go'' i said she nodded and i left i ran to the protection border and then apparated so go see davie she was pacing and freaking out 

''hey what happened'' i asked worried 

''i need to go'' she said ''i got to go jugheads not in hospital but barely breathing hes in some bunker unconscious and he was nearly murdered and i cant stay here i need to go see jellybean she wants to say here because shes been forced to stay with alice and my dad still is struggling but he still doesnt know about ronnie and i - i i have to go'' she was freaking out and the baby started crying she picked her up and quieted her down 

''hey if you need to go, go ill take care of ronnie'' i said 

''no i cant leave her i have to stay with her she needs fed'' she said 

''i can feed her'' i said 

''well unless you have breasts no you cant'' she said ''and you have your weekly dinners with you parents i dont know how long i will be away but it will be more than a week''

''then ill go with you with all your things going on there i will help you take care of her and everything let me help you like i told you i would'' i said 

''i couldnt do that to you what about the shop and the one thats getting built'' she said 

''not done for two months and george can do it'' i said ''ive been doing all his work for ever its his turn'' 

''ok fine but if i say go home with her you do it riverdale is really dangerous and i have to act a way i like but i know it isnt me and if they ask if you want a tattoo or anything like getting a knife out of a snake pit you dont do it ok'' she said i made sense but didnt at the same time 

''ok but why would they ask that'' i asked 

''i will tell you in the car'' she said 

''car??'' i asked 

''well how else would we get to a muggle town'' she said
