DANDELION JUNEBERRY

The ride was a tad bit awkward. Probably because I had my brother with me,he can be very straightforward sometimes so I tried not to say anything that can caused him to embarrass me.

However,the silence was comforting. Whenever I'm in a vehicle,usually I just read my book while I listened to some songs,play my phone or sleep.This time,I decided to appreciate the view outside. I just realised some stores that I used to go to back when I was in secondary school were closed and replaced with a different brand new store.

I felt someone tapped my shoulders lightly causing me to look at them. "We're here." Daniel said before he grabbed his shopping bags.

I looked at the rear view mirror to see Mystery Man's eyes staring right back at me. I didn't know if it was the air conditioner in his car or the weather but the air suddenly felt cold.

"Here,go inside first."I told Daniel before I gave him the house keys. He looked at me with a skeptical look,both of his eyebrows raised. "Uh alright,be quick though,I want to order McDonald's." His gaze changed from me to Mystery Man before he shrugged it off,leaving me alone with him.

After Daniel closed the car door,I immediately looked at him with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry that he was being rude earlier. I swear he's a good boy."

His body turned slightly to look at me,a small smile appeared on his face causing my heart to do a little flip-okay too much,Dandelion.

Stop right there.

"I'm glad your brother's like that."He replied,his voice came out deep and smooth.He then rolled his sleeves up,before he moved the handbrake causing the car to start moving.

"Uh where are we going?"I nervously asked as I looked at him confusingly. "Call your brother,ask him what he wants from McDonald's. We're going to drive through." He replied casually as he turned his head to check whether there was a car behind us. His right hand started to spin the steering wheel while his left hand rested on the passenger seat.

He then reversed the car slowly before he moved the gearshift and then continued to drive forward.

That was so supalicious.

I snapped away from my thoughts after I saw him smirking at me from the rear view mirror.So he caught me staring at him?

How nice.

I quickly grabbed my phone from my tote bag and dialled my brother's number. I looked away as I hold my phone closer to my cheeks to cover my blushing mess.

"Yo! What the-hello? Lilac why are you calling me?"He said through the phone. I could hear multiple clicking noises,I assumed he was probably playing with his new game.

"Um what do you want from McDonald's? We're going to drive through instead." I quickly replied. "Oh with your Mystery Man? How adorable!" His tone got higher as he said the last sentence,obviously mocking me.
