If you're like me and love plants, then this is the DIY for you! I have tons of houseplants and recently decided to paint some terra cotta pots. This is an inexpensive way to add some color into any room. Terra cotta pots are cheap and easy to paint, if you don't love the basic orange color.

I used acrylic paint and a wall paint sample, which worked out great! You can buy a wall paint sample at any home improvement or hardware store. At my local store they cost around $3 for a small 8oz can.

What you will need:

Terra Cotta pots (any size)

Paint (acrylic craft paint or wall paint sample)

Paint brushes (any size)

How to create:

Step one: Get creative! There are no rules in art, so just have fun! Turn some music on and paint! It doesn't have to look perfect!

I love the bohemian look of these two pots below. I painted the pot with a base color and then painted little stripes in different colors.

Can you tell I love the boho look? 😂 For this one below I painted a cute little rainbow.
