The Battle

You looked at Toga shocked, not sure if she was being serious or not. It's not like you didn't like showing off your quirk, but the fact that you're going to be using it on Dabi made it feel a little different. You were confused by thoughts that were swarming through your head. Why were you so concerned about it anyway? It's not like you were in love with him or that you were together.

"Come on Y/n, we have to go it starts in 10 minutes" Toga helped you out of your thoughts.

You looked at her and nodded making your way to your closet and putting some clothes on. You went with Toga down the stairs and through a back door that led to what looked like an abandoned parking lot. There were villains everywhere. On top of the abandoned buildings surrounding the hideout and on the ground. All eyes were looking at you as soon as you had made your entrance.

"Y/n, come this way." Said Shiggy signaling you to come towards him. 

You were making your way towards him when you froze at the sight of Dabi right behind him. You two looked at each other for a second before you broke eye contact. 

"Y/n, this is Dabi, have you two met yet?"

Dabi looked at you and then back at Shigaraki. He shook his head.

"Nope, nice to meet you Y/n" He put his hand out for you to shake it. 

You shook his hand looking up at him. His grip was tight around yours.

"Nice to meet you too."

Shigaraki glanced at the both of you and then clasped his hands together.

"Well, let's get this started, Y/n I forgot to mention this to you but many people wanted to see your quirk and how it works,"

You nodded your head looking at Dabi again. He winked at you making you look away quickly. Shigaraki continued.

"We couldn't find anyone who wanted to fight you, but Dabi was very anxious to get to know your quirk and how skilled you are."

Your eyes widened and you looked at Dabi. He shrugged and grinned with out showing his teeth. Before you could think of anything to say you realized you didn't even know what his quirk was yourself. 

"Hey, what even is your quirk?"

He smirked looking at you through his eyebrows.

"You'll find out eventually princess"

You looked at him with a stern look. Before you could even speak Shiggy began to talk.

"Okay let's get started, go stand in the middle of the parking lot and we'll get ready"

You made your way towards the middle with Dabi right next you. He leans into your ear and began to whisper. 

"You don't try and kill me and I won't try and punish you later."

You looked at him with a side eye and smirked. 

You two were facing each other. You didn't know what it was but you were suddenly prepared to show off. Dabi looked as though he want to show out too. You didn't mean to be cocky but you began to wonder. Does he actually think he can beat me? 

It was time for it to begin. Shiggy looked at you both, standing in between the two of you. 

"May the best win, start when you're ready" He backed up.

You activated your quirk your eyes had a red glow to them. You could see what looked like red energy waves coming from your hands. You saw Dabi preparing, Blue flames coming from his hands. He threw a ball of the blue flames at you, but you were able to move out of its way. He did it again but you dodged it one more time.

Before he could do it again you used your telekinesis to stop his hands, and you sent a ball of your red energy waves forcefully at him making him fall back. He got up and smirked. He began to come towards you. he jumped at you with a fistful of fire. You used your energy manipulation to jump high and over him, kicking him in the back. Everyone was stunned and amused. Before you could react you decided to play with him a little. You used another part of your quirk to read his mind.

God she's hot when she's fighting

You laughed putting your knee to his back and whispering in his ear

"You should keep your thoughts to yourself" 

You got a little too cocky before you knew it he began combat and put you in a hold. You knew how strong he was but this felt different. You couldn't move your arms only your legs. You tried elbowing his stomach but that didn't faze him either. He whispered in your ear.

"Is that all you got princess?"

You rolled your eyes, was he being serious? You head butted him hitting his nose, used your quirk to get out of his grip and got on top of him putting holding his wrists with your hand and your quirk. He looked at you grinning. Was that really it? He looked at you and laughed.

"What" You said out of breathe.

"You didn't use your whole quirk on me" He panted also out of breathe. 

You froze. You're waking nightmare quirk.

"Are you fucking crazy? I'm not using that on you." 

He looked at you and grinned.

"Why not? Just do it don't be scared" You looked at him with disbelief.

You shook your head and got off of him. Why would anyone want to live their biggest nightmares.  Your quirk has hurt pro heroes in the past. You've even use to use it on people who hurt you. And every time you heard them scream from terror it hurt you. 

Dabi got up and admitted his defeat. He looked at you one last time  directed his eyes quickly towards his apartment window and back at you. You looked at him still in shock from his request. He left and you were going to slowly follow behind him when you were met face to face with Toga and Shiggy. She jumped up and down.

"I love watching you fight Y/n" you smiled. You liked being complimented.

"That was definitely fun to watch y/n, we should start working on your combat" Said Shiggy 

You agreed, thanked him and he walked away. You looked back at Toga.

"Thanks Toga. But I should probably get going, I'm really tired." 

She nodded her head and giggled knowing exactly what you were doing. And you slowly made your way to Dabi's room.
