"I-im sorry Zander i have to.." Luke said while looking down, tears starting to form in his eyes "Why?! Thats so far away! Why do you have to move dont you like it here?!" Zander screamed in between sobs. "I-"

"LUKE PETERSON! WE ARE GONNA BE LATE!"

Zander looked down at his feet with tears still streaming down his cheeks,

"before you go I need to tell you that-"

Zander looked up to see Luke and his car gone.

"I Love you..." The purple hair boy whispered to himself

Luke's POV 🧡:

"PLEASEEEEEE" my Co worker Wayne ( im so sorry i just thought of a random
name LMAO-) practically begged me

"for the 10th time, No okay? Go ask your girlfreind or something" i said while rolling my eyes

"She uhh-" "Dumped you?" i intruppted, "HEY!- Wait THATS NOT THE POINT, the POINT is that this concert is perfect for you to meet new people" Wayne continued "You said you just recently moved back here right?"

"OKAY FINE IF I GO TO THE STUPID CONCERT WITH YOU WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT UP" i snapped

Wayne grinned "See you tommarrowwwwww"

I sighed "god he reminds me of Henry and Liam"

The night of the concert ( another timeskip WOOO-)

Me and Wayne got in and it wasnt as crowded as i thought it would be

"LUKE **hic** WHAT ARE YOU DOING ARENT YOU GONNA COMEEEEE"

I turned around "oh, no i dont um drink"

Wayne paused "Your 22 its technically-"

I glared at him

"Aaaaaaand no Drinks for Luke"

Me and wayne walked around to try and find our seats

Once we were seated we saw the curtains slowly start to open as the crowd started to clap, they started introduceing the people on the insturments, i wasnt really listening i looked up as my eyes slowly went wide

"AAAAAND ON PIANO WE HAVE"

In that moment i felt everything stop and slowly whispered

"Zander?!"

"Woah **Hic** you know **Hic** that kid?"

I couldnt care less about what Wayne or anyone else was saying in that moment.

The concert was eh i wasnt really paying attention, i was to busy looking at the pianist

The concert ended and the curtains closed i quickly got up "am i allowd to go backstage?" i thought to myself i started walking towards the door when i heard Wayne "Lukkkkee loook how many girls! Maybe **Hic** you can get yourself a girlfriend"

"look Wayne" i started "im honestly not intrested i dont even know why i took this stupid job in the first place! Your all irresponsible men who are always drinking in the office and i dont know how after two weeks in that job i already hate it there! So tell our stupid boss that im done" i immediatly reggreted what i said after,

"Okay jeez you dont **Hic** have to get all braty" I saw as he turned around and walked away, i ran back stage and saw boxes, and other instruments, "HEY" I looked back and saw a secureity guard behind me, "i suggest you LEAVE, no one is allowed backstage unless its family to following musician players" "i-i"

"Luke?!" i heard a familliar voice call, my head shot up and their he was, my childhood bestfriend, and also... Crush

"Mr Wickham do you know this gentleman?"

"U-Umm" He looked down at me, "yes?"

"okay well if he gets into any trouble let me know" "okay bye" i quickly stood up so i was faceing Zander "hey,-" i was intrupped by a set of arms wrapped around my torso, He buried his head in my chest causeing me to blush "6 YEARS LUKE! WE HAVENT SEEN EACH OTHER FOR 6 YEARS AND ALL YOU SAY IS HEY??"

he said while sobbing, i felt tears form in my eyes, i hugged him back, "i-im, im sorry" we stayed hugging eachother for a couple minutes untill Zander finally spoke up, "Luke, Luke you can let go now" I slightly blushed and let go putting my hands in my pockets, "so, a band huh?"
Zander looked down,

"yeah its uh, fun i guess" i smiled " i bet it is super nervouse to play infront of all those people"

Zander stayed silent, "yeah, its pretty lonely without a certain drummer..."

"oh, how is everyone else doing?" i asked trying to change the subject, "Milly and Elliot are dating and they opened a flower shop, Millys also with Jake,Daisy,Sean,and Hailey and they started their own band and travel across the world to perform"

"Daisy?" i asked

"yeah, shes like a background dancer for them or whatever, i just choose to peform in this band because they actually do more classical music,"

I chuckled, "of course,"

I suddenly remembered 6 years ago as i was leaveing, "hey um you probably dont even remember but if you do, what was the thing you tried to tell me before i left?"

Zanders eyes went wide as he turned red, "umm theres no point in telling you now, you probably are seeing someone.."

"Oh, no im not really dating anyone at the moment because.. Um" i stopped " wait what does me seeing someone have to do with what you were trying to tell me?"

Zander stayed silent, " i told you i love you" My eyes went wide "O-oh, OH"
" I know i know its dumb, its just a dumb crush-" I looked into his eyes, "U-Umm, thats funny because, i also had a um crush on you.." we were both comepletly red, "umm," he looked at the clock, "SHOOT! I HAVE TO GO!" He said grabing his stuff and slowly jogging to his car, "i cant let him go, not again" i thought to myself. I grabbed his Hand,

He looked at me in confusion, "Ummm, well, theres this um, cafe by here and i was wondering if tommarrow you are um, free maybe? Or n-not i dunno i-"

"Luke" he said softly, "a-are you asking me out?" i smiled softly "is that a yes?" he stayed silent.

Zanders POV 💜:

"OH MY GOD! YES LUKE! A THOUSANDS TIME YES!" I said as tears streamed down my eyes, he got up but was immediatly tackled on the ground by me, he wiped the tears off my cheeks and kissed my forehead, after for what seemed like forever we both got up and he slipped the ring on my finger, we both hugged eachother.

"I love you Zander"

"I love you too"
