"what if kay was right?" gia flopped down backwards onto her bed

rose, who was applying mascara in the mirror viciously turned to face her, "what do you mean?"

"i mean, what if me and daniel are moving too fast?" she sat back up, locking eyes with rose

rose let out a sigh, walking over to sit right next to gia, "why would you think that?"

"i mean you and zach have been messing around for like a week shorter than me and daniel and you just kissed, its just-" she began

"gianna. different couples move at different paces. if daniels not complaining about its fine i assume plus you've known each other for years," rose smiled at her, patting her back

"but what if im not ready? what if he's just playing me? daniel has changed so much in the past years i dont know what hes like anymore,"

rose cupped giannas face with both her hands and said, "it'll be fine, do whatever you want dude but you'll never know if you just end things right now,"

gianna didnt respond, only looked down thinking about it

rose let go off her face and stood up, "come on, lets continue getting dressed,"

while rose and gianna were getting dressed at gia's apartment daniel rushed into jonah's home, his nerves shaking him up

"woah daniel you good?" eben asked, watching him pace around the room back and forth

"no! i'm thinking about asking gianna out tonight but i dont know how or if she'll even say yes!" he freaked

"oh she'll definitely say yes," corbyn said, coming from upstairs

"but- but how?" he asked

"just do it!" eben shouted, "get her alone, just you and her and then just lay it on her,"

jonah and corbyn both nodded to eben's answer

"its that easy?" daniel asked before biting his lip and scratching his head

"yeah, daniel you've asked out so many girls before why is it so hard when it comes to gia?" eben asked

"he's been in love with her for years man, he's always been shy towards her," jonah shrugged

"yeah you'd think it would die down after awhile," corbyns voice faded out

the boys all turned towards him now, concerned

"what's been going on with you and christina?" daniel asked softly

"i might end it when she leaves," he frowned up, "i mean it hasnt been working out recently we've been on and off since march," he slouched down into the couch

"totally understandable dude, but dont feel like you have to do it as soon as possible," jonah tossed his hand up in the air and let it fall back down to his side

"but dont forget that you still have to do it," eben pointed his finger at him, "you too" moving his finger to point at daniel

the two boys nodded at the other twos advice, thinking about it still while they began helping decorate the place for the party.
