gia ended up now changing at all, staying in the clothes she slept in. she plopped onto her couch waiting for rose to show up
she glanced around the room as she thought about everything that went on today. her thoughts were interrupted by some random black fabric on the floor that wasnt there before
she bent over her knees to pick it up, immediately knowing it's daniels from the way it smell
his sweatshirt. she knew it was a bad idea but she hesitantly put it on her, feeling guilty but loved the way she felt in it.
she sat back on her couch, feeling warmer. a small smile on her face.
"gianna!" rose's voice broke gia's state of silence, causing her to jump up in fear
"oh shit sorry," rose laughed, "i've been texting you for the past ten minutes cmon!"
"oh, i havent checked my phone my bad." gia said, getting up and following rose out the door and to her car
"so you gonna tell me whats up or am i gonna have to guess?" rose said before starting the car
gia didnt say anything she just stared, wondering what she should do
"daniel?" rose whisper-asked
gia only hummed in response, not fully ready to talk about it yet.
"understandable. well blurt it out whenever you wanna, i'll be listening,"
gia only nodded, not saying anything afterward just turning the radio volume up
the two went the whole day shopping and preparing for their trip without one word spoken about daniel
however, of course, gia's mind was flooded with thoughts of daniel the whole time
"gia, cheese!" rose spoke, taking a picture as soon as gianna realized what she meant
"aww you look so cute" gia said once she glanced at the picture
"so do you!"
the two laughed at it, knowing it wasnt they're best picture but any picture that included the two were the best.
"you gonna post that? gia asked, receiving a simple nod from rose
"so..." gia started, gaining rose's attention
"franny was trying to get daniel to basically leave me for her. saying so much shit about me too,"
rose's eyebrow furrowed, "and he just let her? i mean what did he say?"
"he was telling her to just stop, but when i came in the room it was like i became his enemy,"
"we argued a little then i left, then today he came over drunk as fuck then once he sobered up he explained the whole thing and i feel terrible," gia finished
"want my opinion?" rose asked
gia only shrugged, "you both need to talk a little more, agree on something you both wanna do, i say follow your feelings. i dont see daniel trying to break your heart any time soon,"
"yeah, i guess" gia responded
