Hiccup and Astrid are dating

Summary: it's a cold day on the Edge

˗ˏˋ  Astrid's POV  'ˎ˗

I layed on my bed inside of my hut. The sky was filled with grey clouds, and the wind howled slightly. Today was one of the coldest days on the Edge and there was no snow either, just a common cloudy day. Stormfly laid her head on my lap and I stroked her head, I shivered as a cold chill went down my spine, my hands felt like ice and were slightly purple. Being cold was probably one of the worst feelings for me, I shivered again. Stormfly sensed my discomfort and nuzzled closer to me I smiled, she was such a loyal dragon.

After moving into a couple of positions I couldn't seem to warm myself up, there was also no fireplace in my hut, which was not helping my case. I sat up and looked at the door for a moment.

˗ˏˋ Hiccup's POV 'ˎ˗

"Hey bud!" I said as Toothless grabbed one of the papers off my desk. I reached out to grab it just before he darted away. I rolled my eyes playfully and sat back down, the wind howled againsed my hut and I shivered at the thought of the cool breeze outside. Suddenly, there was a knock at my door. I jumped up,

"Ah I'm coming!" I shouted, walking over to the door. There was Astrid, standing in front of the door, I smiled sweetly excited to see her.

"Hey" I said, giving her a hug, she felt tense. 

"Hi Hiccup" 

"You okay?" I asked her. 

"Y-yeah I'm fine" She sighed, shivering and her hands were almost purple. She walked in and held out her arms hinting for a hug. I smiled again and wrapped my arms around her, seeming to relax in my arms. We pulled away, but I snaked my arm around her waist.

"Your cold" I stated

"Well m-maybe" She replied sheepishly. "I'm taking that as a yes" I said chuckling. Astrid laughed. 

"Sorry for interrupting you. If you want me to g-" 

"No no, It's fine" I say, and kissed her forehead. 

I got under the covers and she cuddled up beside me, laying her head on my chest. I played with her soft blonde hair and she sighed.

"You still cold?" I ask, Astrid looked up at me and smiled slightly.

"No" Astrid shuddered. I was unconvinced, I know this Hofferson too well. I wrapped my arms around her protectively and pulled her close. She smiled,

"Thanks Hiccup, I love you" She said smiling,

"I love you too m'lady" I say, planting a kiss tenderly on her forehead once again. 

"Dork" She says playfully

"I'm a dork now?" I said smirking,

"My dork."

We fell asleep in each others arms, warmer than ever as the wind howled outside.
